قطعت الفنانة اللبنانية ديانا حداد بعدم صحة الأخبار التي تناقلتها مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي أخيراً، حول ارتدائها الحجاب، واعتزالها الغناء.
وقالت حداد، في تصريحات صحفية أثناء حضورها مهرجان موازين: «هناك العديد من الأنباء التي انتشرت حول اعتزالي وارتدائي الحجاب بعدما أديت مناسك الحج».
وأضافت: «هذه المعلومات عارية تماماً من الصحة، ولو اعتزلت سأعلن ذلك بنفسي في بيان رسمي»، مشيرة إلى أن جمهورها عرفها كفنانة تغني وليس من الخطأ أن يقدم الفنان استعراضاً بطريقة محترمة تليق به.
The Lebanese artist Diana Haddad denied the accuracy of the news that has recently circulated on social media regarding her wearing the hijab and retiring from singing.
Haddad stated in press remarks during her attendance at the Mawazine Festival: "There are many reports that have spread about my retirement and wearing the hijab after I performed the rituals of Hajj."
She added: "This information is completely untrue, and if I were to retire, I would announce it myself in an official statement," noting that her audience knows her as an artist who sings and that it is not wrong for an artist to present a performance in a respectful manner that befits them.
