تنطلق الدورة الـ39 من مهرجان جرش للثقافة والفنون الشهر القادم تحت شعار «هنا الأردن.. ومجده مستمر».
وتتضمن دورة العام الحالي إقامة أكثر من 235 فعالية تشمل حفلات غنائية لفنانين أردنيين وعرب، عروضا مسرحية، وأمسيات شعرية، ومعارض للفنون التشكيلية والحرف اليدوية، إلى جانب فقرات فنية مخصصة للأطفال والعائلات تُقام في عدد من المواقع داخل مدينة جرش الأثرية، منها المسرح الجنوبي والشمالي والساحة الرئيسية ومسرح الصوت والضوء وشارع الأعمدة، إضافة إلى مواقع ثقافية في العاصمة عمان ومحافظات أخرى.
يفتتح مهرجان هذا العام بحفل عمر العبداللات، فيما يشارك على المسرح الجنوبي كل من ناصيف زيتون، أحلام، ميادة الحناوي، نور مهنا، جوزيف عطية، ملحم زين، خالد عبدالرحمن، محمد حماقي، وأصالة نصري، إلى جانب نداء شرارة وديانا كرزون وعيسى السقار وعدد من الفنانين الأردنيين.
كما يحتضن المسرح الشمالي عروضًا لفرق موسيقية وشبابية من الأردن والعالم العربي، فيما تقدم الساحة الرئيسية عروضًا فلكلورية من عدة دول، ويحتفي مسرح ارتيمس بالشعر والموروث المحلي، بينما يُخصص مسرح الصوت والضوء لعروض الأطفال والعائلات، ويستعيد شارع الأعمدة أجواء الفلكلور الشعبي الأردني.
ويشمل البرنامج الثقافي، ندوات أدبية وفكرية حول الرواية والسرد والفلسفة، إضافة إلى ملتقى تحولات السرد العربي في العصر الرقمي، والمؤتمر الفلسفي العربي، إلى جانب ورش ومعارض فنية ومساحات مخصصة للفنانين الشباب والأطفال المكفوفين.
وأكد وزير الثقافة ورئيس اللجنة العليا للمهرجان مصطفى الرواشدة، بأن مهرجان جرش يحمل رسالة الدولة الأردنية ويعبر عن موروثها الحضاري، كما يعكس صورة الأردن المستقرة والمنفتحة على الثقافة والإنسانية، واعتبر أن استمرار المهرجان على مدى أربعة عقود يعزز الهوية الوطنية ويدعم السياحة الثقافية ويجعل من الأردن منصة للتلاقي والحوار.
وأشار المدير التنفيذي للمهرجان، أيمن سماوي إلى أن دورة هذا العام تتميز بحضور فني متنوع يشمل فنانين من مختلف الدول العربية، إلى جانب احتفاء خاص بالإبداع المحلي من خلال مشاركة واسعة للفنانين الأردنيين والفرق التراثية والشبابية.
The 39th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts will kick off next month under the slogan "Here is Jordan... and its glory continues."
This year's edition includes more than 235 events featuring musical concerts by Jordanian and Arab artists, theatrical performances, poetry evenings, and exhibitions of visual arts and handicrafts, in addition to artistic segments dedicated to children and families held at several locations within the ancient city of Jerash, including the southern and northern theaters, the main square, the sound and light theater, and the column street, as well as cultural venues in the capital Amman and other governorates.
This year's festival will open with a concert by Omar Abdallat, while the southern theater will host performances by Nassif Zaitoun, Ahlam, Mayada El Hennawy, Nour Mahna, Joseph Attieh, Melhem Zein, Khaled Abdulrahman, Mohamed Hamaki, and Assala Nasri, along with Nidaa Sharara, Diana Karazon, Eissa Al-Saqar, and several Jordanian artists.
The northern theater will feature performances by musical and youth bands from Jordan and the Arab world, while the main square will present folkloric performances from several countries. The Artemis Theater will celebrate poetry and local heritage, while the sound and light theater will be dedicated to children's and family performances, and the column street will revive the atmosphere of Jordanian folk folklore.
The cultural program includes literary and intellectual seminars on novels, narrative, and philosophy, in addition to a forum on the transformations of Arab narrative in the digital age, the Arab philosophical conference, as well as workshops and art exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to young artists and visually impaired children.
The Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Festival's Higher Committee, Mustafa Rawashdeh, affirmed that the Jerash Festival carries the message of the Jordanian state and reflects its civilizational heritage. He noted that the festival's continuation over four decades strengthens national identity, supports cultural tourism, and makes Jordan a platform for meeting and dialogue.
The festival's executive director, Ayman Samawi, pointed out that this year's edition is distinguished by a diverse artistic presence that includes artists from various Arab countries, along with a special celebration of local creativity through extensive participation from Jordanian artists and heritage and youth groups.
