تعاقد النجم المصري أحمد العوضي على بطولة فيلمه السينمائي الجديد بعنوان «البوب»، ليخوض من خلاله ثاني تجاربه في عالم السينما بعد نجاحه في فيلم «الإسكندراني» العام الماضي.
الفيلم الجديد ينتمي إلى نوعية الأكشن الكوميدي، ويُنتج بالشراكة بين أحمد السبكي ونجله كريم السبكي، وبدأ العوضي جلسات عمل مكثفة مع فريق الإنتاج لوضع التصور النهائي للعمل واختيار بقية الأبطال.
ومن المنتظر أن يتم الإعلان قريباً عن اسم مخرج الفيلم، بالتزامن مع وضع اللمسات النهائية على السيناريو وترشيح فريق التمثيل الكامل، استعداداً لانطلاق التصوير خلال الفترة القادمة.
يأتي «البوب» بعد النجاح الجماهيري لفيلم «الإسكندراني» من تأليف الراحل أسامة أنور عكاشة، وإخراج خالد يوسف، وشارك في بطولته إلى جانب العوضي نخبة من النجوم منهم حسين فهمي، صلاح عبدالله، بيومي فؤاد، خالد سرحان.
وعلى الصعيد الدرامي، شارك العوضي أخيراً في بطولة مسلسل «فهد البطل» ضمن موسم رمضان الماضي، وهو عمل درامي شعبي من تأليف محمود حمدان، وإخراج محمد عبدالسلام، وإنتاج شركة سينرجي، وشاركه البطولة أحمد عبدالعزيز، ميرنا نور الدين، لوسي، وعدد كبير من الفنانين.
The Egyptian star Ahmed El Awady has signed on for the lead role in his new movie titled "The Pop," marking his second experience in the world of cinema after his success in the film "The Alexandrian" last year.
The new film belongs to the action-comedy genre and is produced in partnership between Ahmed El Sobky and his son Karim El Sobky. El Awady has begun intensive working sessions with the production team to finalize the vision for the project and select the remaining cast members.
It is expected that the name of the film's director will be announced soon, coinciding with the final touches being put on the script and the nomination of the complete cast, in preparation for the filming to commence in the upcoming period.
"The Pop" comes after the popular success of the film "The Alexandrian," written by the late Osama Anwar Okasha and directed by Khaled Youssef, which featured alongside El Awady a selection of stars including Hussein Fahmy, Salah Abdullah, Bayoumi Fouad, and Khaled Sarhan.
On the dramatic front, El Awady recently participated in the lead role of the series "Fahd the Hero" during last Ramadan season, which is a popular drama written by Mahmoud Hamdan, directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam, and produced by Synergy Company. He shared the lead with Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Mirna Nour El Din, Lousy, and a large number of artists.
