كشف نقيب الفنانين العراقيين الدكتور جبار جودي، في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»، عن تطورات أزمة الفنانة المصرية إلهام شاهين والإعلامية هالة سرحان، بعد تعذر عودتهما إلى القاهرة نتيجة إغلاق المجال الجوي العراقي، في ظل التوترات الأمنية الناجمة عن الصراع بين إسرائيل وإيران.
وقال جودي إنه على تواصل دائم مع الفنانتين، وحرص على زيارتهما في مقر إقامتهما بأحد الفنادق الكبرى في العراق للاطمئنان على حالتهما، مؤكداً أن حالتهما الصحية والنفسية جيدة، وأنهما تنتظران فقط إعادة فتح الأجواء.
وأضاف أن السلطات العراقية تعمل على فتح المجال الجوي، وفي حال إتمام ذلك، ستعود النجمتان فوراً على أول رحلة متاحة إلى مصر، مشيراً إلى أن الأوضاع في العراق مستقرة حتى الآن رغم التوتر الإقليمي.
يُذكر أن وجود إلهام شاهين وهالة سرحان في العراق جاء للمشاركة في فعاليات المهرجان الدولي للمرأة الإعلامية في دورته الرابعة عشرة، قبل أن تتسبب الحرب بين إسرائيل وإيران في إغلاق المجال الجوي وتعطيل رحلات العودة.
The captain of Iraqi artists, Dr. Jabbar Joudi, revealed in a special statement to "Okaz" the developments regarding the crisis of Egyptian actress Elham Shahin and media personality Hala Sarhan, after their return to Cairo was hindered due to the closure of Iraqi airspace amid the security tensions resulting from the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Joudi stated that he is in constant contact with the two artists and made sure to visit them at their accommodation in one of the major hotels in Iraq to check on their condition, confirming that their health and psychological state are good, and that they are only waiting for the airspace to reopen.
He added that the Iraqi authorities are working to open the airspace, and if this is completed, the two stars will return immediately on the first available flight to Egypt, noting that the situation in Iraq is stable so far despite the regional tensions.
It is worth mentioning that Elham Shahin and Hala Sarhan's presence in Iraq was for participating in the International Media Women's Festival in its fourteenth edition, before the war between Israel and Iran caused the airspace to close and disrupted their return flights.
