في حديث خاص لـ«عكاظ»، كشف النجم الكندي من أصل مصري مينا مسعود تفاصيل حفل زفافه المرتقب من الممثلة الهندية إيملي شاه، مشيراً إلى أنه سيُقام في إيطاليا خلال شهر يوليو المقبل، على مدار يومين أو ثلاثة، بحضور العائلة والمقرّبين فقط، وسط أجواء خاصة وهادئة.
وفي سياق مختلف، أعرب مسعود عن سعادته البالغة بقرب عرض أولى تجاربه السينمائية في مصر من خلال فيلم «في عز الضهر»، مؤكداً أن المشروع بدأ التحضير له منذ 4 سنوات، ويُعد خطوة مهمة نحو العودة إلى جذوره المصرية.
وقال مينا: «أشعر أن بيني وبين الشخصية التي أجسدها قواسم مشتركة كثيرة، رغم اختلاف التفاصيل، وهذا ما جعلني أتحمس للفيلم»، مضيفاً: «أنا متشوق لرؤية رد فعل الجمهور المصري والعربي على هذا العمل».
كما أعرب رغبته القوية في التعاون مستقبلاً مع النجم المصري أحمد السقا، قائلاً: «بحب السقا جداً ونفسي نشتغل مع بعض.. وأنا من عشاق الأكشن اللي بيقدمه».
الفيلم من إخراج مرقس عادل وتأليف كريم سرور، ويضم نخبة من نجوم الفن المصري والعربي، منهم: إيمان العاصي، شيرين رضا، جميلة عوض، بيومي فؤاد، محمود البزاوي، ساندرا ديفا، محمود حجازي، محمد علي رزق، محمد عز، وأحمد جمال سعيد، إلى جانب عدد من ضيوف الشرف.
ومن المقرر أن يُعرض فيلم «في عز الضهر» في دور السينما يوم 18 يونيو 2025، في مصر وعدة دول عربية منها السعودية، الإمارات، قطر، البحرين، عمان، لبنان، الأردن، سورية، والعراق، بالإضافة إلى أمريكا الشمالية وكندا.
In a special interview with "Okaz," Canadian star of Egyptian descent Mina Massoud revealed details about his upcoming wedding to Indian actress Emily Shah, indicating that it will take place in Italy during the upcoming month of July, over the course of two or three days, with only family and close friends in attendance, amidst a special and quiet atmosphere.
In a different context, Massoud expressed his immense happiness about the upcoming premiere of his first cinematic experience in Egypt through the film "Fi Izz Al-Dahr," confirming that the project has been in preparation for 4 years and is considered an important step towards returning to his Egyptian roots.
Mina said: "I feel that there are many commonalities between me and the character I portray, despite the differences in details, and this is what made me excited about the film," adding: "I am eager to see the reaction of the Egyptian and Arab audience to this work."
He also expressed his strong desire to collaborate in the future with Egyptian star Ahmed El Sakka, saying: "I really love El Sakka and I hope we can work together... I am a fan of the action he presents."
The film is directed by Marcus Adel and written by Karim Sarour, featuring a selection of stars from Egyptian and Arab art, including: Iman Al-Asi, Sherine Reda, Jamila Awad, Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud El-Bazawy, Sandra Deva, Mahmoud Hegazy, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Mohamed Ezz, and Ahmed Gamal Saeed, along with a number of guest stars.
The film "Fi Izz Al-Dahr" is scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 18, 2025, in Egypt and several Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq, in addition to North America and Canada.
