تخوض الفنانة السعودية الصاعدة أضواء بدر أولى تجاربها في الدراما التلفزيونية من خلال المسلسل الشبابي «جَدَّ جَديدْ»، بعد تميزها في فيلم «ناقة» الذي حصدت عنه جائزة «SHARE HER JOURNEY» بمهرجان تورونتو واختيرت ضمن النجوم الصاعدين لعام 2023.
وتشارك أضواء بدر في بطولة العمل إلى جانب كوكبة من النجوم السعوديين والمصريين، أبرزهم: أماوري عزاية، خالد علي، سوسن بدر، علي السبع، ومحسن محيي الدين. المسلسل من إخراج سلمى الكاشف، وتأليف ريم القماش، بفكرة أماوري عزاية.
يدور المسلسل حول شاب يفيق من غيبوبة استمرت سنتين، ليكتشف عالماً مختلفاً تماماً، ويحاول إعادة بناء هويته بمساعدة جدته وأصدقائه الذين يواجهون بدورهم تحديات خاصة.
أضواء بدر، المولودة في الولايات المتحدة، تنحدر من خلفية غنية بين الثقافتين السعودية والأمريكية. بدأت مشوارها الفني في عرض الأزياء عام 2008، وشاركت في حملات كبرى قبل أن تحقق شهرة واسعة في التمثيل، مؤكدة حضورها بقوة في المشهد الفني السعودي والدولي.
The rising Saudi artist Adoa Badr is embarking on her first experiences in television drama through the youth series "JAD JADID," after her remarkable performance in the film "Naka," for which she won the "SHARE HER JOURNEY" award at the Toronto Film Festival and was selected among the rising stars of 2023.
Adoa Badr stars in the series alongside a host of Saudi and Egyptian stars, including: Amaury Azaya, Khalid Ali, Sawsan Badr, Ali Al-Sabbah, and Mohsen Mohi El-Din. The series is directed by Salma Al-Kashef and written by Reem Al-Qamash, based on an idea by Amaury Azaya.
The series revolves around a young man who wakes up from a two-year coma to discover a completely different world, and he tries to rebuild his identity with the help of his grandmother and friends, who also face their own unique challenges.
Adoa Badr, born in the United States, comes from a rich background that blends Saudi and American cultures. She began her artistic journey in modeling in 2008 and participated in major campaigns before achieving widespread fame in acting, firmly establishing her presence in the Saudi and international artistic scene.
