خطف قائد نادي الاتحاد السعودي النجم الفرنسي من أصول جزائرية كريم بنزيما الأنظار خلال حضوره في مهرجان كان السينمائي، بعد ظهوره العلني على السجادة الحمراء مع الممثلة الفرنسية ذات الأصول الجزائرية لينا خضري، في لقطة اعتبرها الجمهور الرياضي والفني إعلاناً غير مباشر لعلاقتهما.
وترافق الثنائي على السجادة الحمراء متشابكي الأيدي، أمام عدسات وسائل الإعلام العالمية، في مشهد أنهى حالة الجدل التي دارت لأشهر بشأن طبيعة العلاقة بينهما، ليظهر الانسجام جلياً في أول إطلالة رسمية لهما معاً.
جاء ذلك بالتزامن مع العرض الأول لفيلم خضري الجديد «13 يوماً 13 ليلة» للمخرج مارتن بوربولون، ويتناول أحداث انسحاب القوات الفرنسية من العاصمة الأفغانية كابول صيف 2021، عقب عودة طالبان للسلطة، وهو العمل المستوحى من قصة حقيقية مأخوذة عن رواية بالاسم نفسه، ويروي أحداث سقوط كابول في 15 أغسطس 2021، حيث يتولى القائد محمد بيدا مسؤولية حماية السفارة الفرنسية وسط اجتياح طالبان.
وعُرض الفيلم خارج المسابقة الرسمية، على أن يبدأ عرضه في دور السينما أواخر يونيو القادم. وبينما كانت خضري تتألق بصفتها بطلة الفيلم، خطف بنزيما الأضواء بإطلالته غير المعتادة على الساحة الفنية، إذ نادراً ما يظهر في مناسبات من هذا النوع.
ووصفت وسائل إعلام فرنسية، منها مجلة «Vogue»، هذه اللحظة بأنها من أبرز مشاهد الأمسية، إذ شكّل ظهورهما معاً مفاجأة أثارت اهتمام وسائل الإعلام والمتابعين.
ويُعد هذا الظهور أحد أبرز المحطات العلنية في حياة بنزيما الشخصية بعيداً عن ميادين الكرة، خصوصاً أنه اختار مناسبة فنية رفيعة المستوى للكشف عن تفاصيلها.

This coincided with the premiere of Khodri's new film "13 Days 13 Nights," directed by Martin Bourboulon, which addresses the events surrounding the withdrawal of French forces from the Afghan capital, Kabul, in the summer of 2021, following the return of the Taliban to power. The film is inspired by a true story taken from a novel of the same name, recounting the events of the fall of Kabul on August 15, 2021, where Commander Mohammad Baida is tasked with protecting the French embassy amid the Taliban's invasion.
The film was screened out of competition, with its theatrical release set for late June. While Khodri shone as the film's lead, Benzema stole the spotlight with his unusual appearance in the artistic scene, as he rarely attends such events.
French media, including "Vogue" magazine, described this moment as one of the highlights of the evening, as their joint appearance was a surprise that captured the interest of the media and followers.
This appearance is considered one of the most significant public moments in Benzema's personal life away from the football fields, especially since he chose a prestigious artistic occasion to reveal its details.
