رغم الجولات الميدانية التي تنفذها أمانة العاصمة المقدسة في الأحياء السكنية والشوارع؛ لتحسين المشهد الحضري والارتقاء بجودة الحياة، لا تزال السيارات الخربة والتالفة تنتشر في الشوارع وتشوّه المظهر العام، وسط مطالبات متزايدة بإيجاد حلول جذرية لإزالتها وإلزام أصحابها بنقلها بعيداً عن الأحياء.
وتتكدّس هذه المركبات المهترئة على جوانب الطرق وفوق الأرصفة، وقد غطتها الأتربة وغزاها الصدأ وتراكمت حولها المخلفات، ما يجعلها مصدر تلوث بصري وبيئي يهدّد صحة السكان داخل الأحياء. ورغم تعدد الملصقات الموضوعة عليها بين عبارة «تالف» أو «نرغب بشراء السيارة تشليح»، إلا أن كثيراً منها ما يزال في مكانه دون أن تشملها خطط الإزالة.
وخلال جولة ميدانية لـ «عكاظ»، رُصد انتشار هذه المركبات في عدد من الأحياء، من بينها: النزهة، النوارية، شارع الستين، البحيرات، الشرائع، أم الجود، الزاهر، العزيزية، وغيرها. وأبدى عدد من المواطنين استياءهم من استمرار وجود هذه المركبات، مؤكدين أنها تشكل تشوهاً بصرياً، وتساءلوا عن أسباب عدم إزالتها رغم الحملات المعلنة. مشيرين إلى أن المشكلة لا تقتصر على السيارات التالفة فقط، بل تشمل المباني المتهالكة، والمخلفات المنتشرة داخل الأحياء.
وطالب كل من محسن حربي وسعيد الغامدي، الجهات المختصة بتكثيف الجهود لإزالة التشوهات البصرية في الأحياء؛ لتحسين المشهد الحضري والارتقاء بجودة الحياة داخل المدن.
Despite the field tours conducted by the Secretariat of the Holy Capital in residential neighborhoods and streets to improve the urban landscape and enhance the quality of life, dilapidated and damaged cars continue to spread in the streets, distorting the overall appearance. This comes amid increasing demands for finding radical solutions to remove them and obligate their owners to relocate them away from the neighborhoods.
These worn-out vehicles are piled up along the sides of the roads and on the sidewalks, covered in dust, infested with rust, and surrounded by waste, making them a source of visual and environmental pollution that threatens the health of residents within the neighborhoods. Despite the numerous stickers placed on them, including phrases like "Damaged" or "We want to buy the car for scrap," many of them remain in place without being included in removal plans.
During a field tour by "Okaz," the spread of these vehicles was observed in several neighborhoods, including: Al-Nuzhah, Al-Nawariah, Sixty Street, Al-Buhayrat, Al-Sharae, Umm Al-Joud, Al-Zahir, Al-Aziziyah, and others. A number of citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the continued presence of these vehicles, confirming that they constitute a visual distortion, and they questioned the reasons for their non-removal despite the announced campaigns. They pointed out that the problem is not limited to damaged cars only, but also includes dilapidated buildings and scattered waste within the neighborhoods.
Both Mohsen Harbi and Saeed Al-Ghamdi called on the relevant authorities to intensify efforts to remove visual distortions in the neighborhoods to improve the urban landscape and enhance the quality of life within the cities.
