On September 15, 2025, Doha became the capital of Arab and Islamic decision-making, as leaders from the Gulf, Arab, and Muslim nations gathered in consecutive summits aimed at rallying support for Qatar and expressing a firm rejection of the Israeli aggression that targeted it in a dangerous precedent that shook the conscience of the region.
These summits served as a historical message to the entire world that Qatar was not left alone in facing Israeli arrogance, and that an attack on it is an attack on every Gulf and Arab home, and on every inch of the homeland that will not allow its sovereignty to be violated without a strict political and diplomatic response. The words of the leaders emphasized that Gulf security is indivisible, and that any harm to Doha is harm to Riyadh, Manama, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Muscat, and indeed to all Arab and Islamic capitals that see this aggression as a direct threat to collective national security. In this context, the pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emerged, as it confirmed, through its active presence and clear stance, that Riyadh would not allow the security of the region to be shaken, and that it stands by Qatar just as it stands by every brother facing threats or extortion. The Kingdom's position reflected a steadfast truth: that Saudi Arabia is the pillar of stability in the Gulf, and holds a voice that is heard both Arabically and Islamically, and that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is leading a clear project aimed at enhancing Gulf solidarity and defending a shared destiny.
The summits held in Doha were not merely protocol meetings; they transformed into a platform to reiterate that Israeli arrogance has reached an unprecedented level of audacity, and that targeting Doha is merely a new chapter in an arrogant expansionist policy that threatens security and stability throughout the Middle East. Israel sought through its aggression to test the cohesion of the Arab ranks, and the response from Doha was decisive: the unity of position is stronger than to be broken, and the Gulf today is more aware and resilient in defending its security. The message that emerged from Qatar to the world was clear and direct: Israel will not be allowed to continue its aggressive policies, and Arabs will not stand idly by in the face of attempts to impose facts on the ground by force. These summits proved that the voice of truth, when united, cannot be defeated, and that political solidarity remains a fundamental step in the journey to deter the aggressor and demonstrate that the nation has a unified voice supported by its peoples. Thus, Doha emerged from this historic day stronger, while Israel emerged more isolated in the region and on the world stage, as the global conscience can no longer bear the bloodshed caused by Israel throughout the region, especially in the beleaguered Gaza Strip. As for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it once again proved to be the protector of the homeland and the support of its brothers, standing with Qatar in the same trench, defending the Gulf and the Arab dignity that is non-negotiable.
