أوضحت الفنانة المصرية حنان شوقي أن ابتعادها عن الوسط الفني لم يكن قرارًا عشوائيًا، بل جاء نتيجة رحلة شخصية وروحية بدأت منذ عام 2002، حين شعرت بأن روحها غير موجودة بين الناس، فاختارت التفرغ للجانب الروحي والبحث عن ذاتها من خلال المنهج الصوفي وتجاوز شعورها بالحزن والخذلان.
وكشفت حنان شوقي أنها تعرضت لضغوط نفسية قوية أدت إلى إصابتها بجلطة في القلب أثناء قيادتها السيارة، مؤكدة أن هذه التجارب الصعبة كانت سببًا في تقويتها ونضوج شخصيتها.
الالتزام بالخصوصية
أفصحت الفنانة عن أنها تزوجت مرة واحدة ثم انفصلت، مؤكدة احترامها للأسرة، ولم تطلب الطلاق مباشرة، كما شددت على أهمية الحفاظ على الخصوصية في العلاقات، مشيدة بالفنان أحمد العوضي لالتزامه بعدم الحديث عن زوجته السابقة ياسمين عبد العزيز بعد الانفصال.

وكانت مسرحية «اشهد يا زمان» آخر أعمال حنان شوقي الفنية، التي عرضت عام 2023، وعادت من خلالها إلى الساحة الفنية بعد غياب طويل، وذلك بالتعاون مع المخرج عبد الغني زكي، ومشاركة عدد من نجوم المسرح.

The artist disclosed that she was married once and then divorced, emphasizing her respect for family, and she did not request a divorce directly. She also stressed the importance of maintaining privacy in relationships, praising the artist Ahmed El Awady for his commitment to not speaking about his ex-wife Yasmin Abdel Aziz after their separation.

The play "Witness, O Time" was Hanan Shawky's latest artistic work, which was presented in 2023, marking her return to the artistic scene after a long absence, in collaboration with director Abdel Ghani Zaki, and featuring several theater stars.
