Today, with the openness to the world and the development of social media, (scamming) and defrauding people has become much easier than in the past.
Scammers now enter people's lives through their phones, whether through an advertisement, a fake medical prescription, or a suspicious financial operation, among various other means where the scammer does not struggle to deceive their (victim)!
The more serious problem is not the act of scamming itself, but rather some "naive" people who easily or "foolishly" follow those who paint life in rosy colors, even if they promise them wealth, healing, or success within a few months.
The story might begin with an advertisement: "Get rid of your belly in 7 days without exercise, diet, or surgery!"
Then a muscular young man appears, smiling confidently while holding a box labeled: (Tea that burns your belly)!
The victim buys it and drinks it for a whole month, and the only thing that burns is their patience, while their (belly) continues to thrive.
Others, as soon as they read an advertisement about a "magical product" that treats everything at once (Glory be to God), "acne, blemishes, spots, and perhaps even mid-life crises," rush to buy it. If they ask the seller about the ingredients of this product, he confidently responds as if he were an experienced doctor: "All are 100% natural products and herbs extracted from a plant that grew under a tree in 'the islands of Waq Waq,' under the moonlight, and we only pick it on the night of the full moon for maximum benefit!"
After the experience, the victim suffers from a serious skin disease due to using unlicensed or unsafe materials for human use.
Some other victims may fall for scammers who deceive people and promise them quick wealth after investing with them, only to scam them, steal their money, and disappear.
If there were a rational person, they would wonder why these scammers do not invest their own money and achieve fantastic profits for themselves instead of begging people to invest with them and then selling them their dreams and money?!
As for online medical clinics, there are individuals who claim to treat ailments with incense and oil, and these practices have been described as traits of charlatans and fraudsters for exploiting people's needs for treatment without scientific or legitimate foundations.
According to one newspaper, the Ministry of Health announced in 2017 the suspension of a folk healer who claimed to treat diseases using cauterization without official licensing, and this healer caused one patient to suffer from severe physical deformities, and he was referred to the relevant authorities.
There are also some marketers of dietary programs that claim to cleanse the liver, kidneys, blood, and perhaps even reputation, selling people drinks like "tea and coffee" prepared with strange plants that may harm those who consume them and fill their (intestines) with troubles.
In any case, dear reader, always remember, there is no medicine that can make your belly disappear overnight, nor an investment that will make you a millionaire in a few months, unless you are very dreamy or very asleep.
