شهد محيط أحد المساجد في مدينة كولومبوس بولاية أوهايو الأمريكية حادثة إطلاق نار أسفر عن مقتل شخص واحد على الأقل، بينما باشرت السلطات الفيدرالية والمحلية تحقيقاتها لكشف ملابسات الواقعة وتحديد ظروفها ودوافعها.
وجاءت التحركات الأمنية عقب تلقي بلاغ بشأن إطلاق نار بالقرب من المسجد، حيث انتقل عناصر إنفاذ القانون إلى الموقع وفرضوا إجراءات أمنية في المنطقة، بالتزامن مع بدء عمليات الفحص وجمع الأدلة.
