تحت غطاء من الغموض، وفي غرف مغلقة يضوع داخلها البخور بعدما هربت طويلاً عن عيون الرقابة، استطاعت شبكات منظمة من الدجالين بناء ما يشبه «الإمبراطورية المصغرة» للابتزاز والنصب في الشارع العراقي. لم تكن تلك الممارسات مجرد طقوس وهمية لخداع البسطاء، بل تحولت إلى ماكينة مالية خطيرة تقتات على آلام المواطنين، وتهدد استقرار الأسر، وتستنزف جيوب الضحايا تحت شعارات زائفة تفكك الروابط الاجتماعية.
غير أن هذه الشبكات اصطدمت بالمنظومة الأمنية، إذ نفذ جهاز الأمن الوطني العراقي واحدة من أوسع الحملات الاستباقية والميدانية عبر مختلف المحافظات. وبناءً على معلومات دقيقة ومتابعة حثيثة، انقض الفريق التكتيكي على أوكار المشعوذين في ضربات مباغتة أسفرت عن سقوط 63 متهماً متلبسين بأفعالهم، مع ضبط أدواتهم ومبرزاتهم الجرمية التي فضحت حجم استغلالهم للناس. ومع اعتراف الموقوفين بتورطهم في شبكات احتيال وابتزاز محكمة، أُحيل الجميع إلى القضاء، لتطوي السلطات العراقية صفحة مظلمة من استغلال براءة الباحثين عن وهم العلاجات الخارقة.

These practices were not merely illusory rituals to deceive the simple-minded; they transformed into a dangerous financial machine that feeds on the pain of citizens, threatens family stability, and drains the pockets of victims under false slogans that dismantle social ties.
However, these networks collided with the security system, as the Iraqi National Security Agency carried out one of the widest preemptive and field campaigns across various provinces. Based on accurate information and diligent monitoring, the tactical team swooped down on the hideouts of the sorcerers in surprise strikes that resulted in the arrest of 63 suspects caught in the act, along with the seizure of their tools and criminal evidence that exposed the extent of their exploitation of people. With the detainees admitting their involvement in well-organized fraud and extortion networks, all were referred to the judiciary, allowing the Iraqi authorities to close a dark chapter of exploiting the innocence of those seeking the illusion of miraculous cures.
