تواجه الممثلة التركية عفراء ساراتش أوغلو تهمةَ تعاطي المخدرات بعد ثبوت آثار مادة الكوكايين في الفحص الطبي الذي خضعت له ضمن حملةٍ واسعة شملت عددًا من مشاهير الفن والرياضة ومواقع التواصل.
وجاءت نتيجة فحص شعر ساراتش أوغلو إيجابية لوجود آثارٍ لمادة الكوكايين، وذلك عقب عودتها إلى البلاد في الأيام الماضية وخضوعها للفحص الإلزامي. كما أظهرت النتائج تعاطي المخدرات لدى لاعب كرة القدم التركي السابق حسن شاش، بينما جاءت عينات الممثل أراس بولوت إينملي والإعلامي ياغيز صابونجو أوغلو سلبية.
ويواجه من تُظهر عيناتهم آثارًا للمخدرات تهمًا تتعلق بالشراء والتعاطي، مع عقوباتٍ قد تصل إلى السجن من سنتين إلى خمس سنوات، إضافة إلى عقوباتٍ أشد في حال وقوع المخالفة قرب الأماكن العامة أو المنشآت التعليمية والرياضية والمستشفيات والمدارس ودور العبادة.
وتتيح القوانين للنائب العام تأجيل رفع الدعوى العمومية بشرط التزام المتهم ببرنامج تعافٍ لمدة عام، يُمسح بعدها سجله الجنائي إذا استوفى شروط البرنامج.
وتأتي هذه التطورات ضمن حملاتٍ أمنية مكثفة بدأت منذ أكتوبر الماضي، وأسفرت عن ضبط عشرات المشاهير وثبوت تعاطي المخدرات لدى عددٍ منهم، بينهم الممثل أونور تونا والمغني مابيل ماتيز، فيما أثبتت حملاتٌ أخرى براءة أسماء مثل سيرناي ساريكايا.
The Turkish actress Afra Saraçoğlu is facing drug use charges after traces of cocaine were found in the medical test she underwent as part of a wide-ranging campaign that included several celebrities from the arts, sports, and social media.
The results of Saraçoğlu's hair test were positive for traces of cocaine, following her return to the country in recent days and her mandatory testing. The results also indicated drug use by former Turkish football player Hasan Şaş, while the samples from actor Aras Bulut İynemli and journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu were negative.
Those whose tests show traces of drugs face charges related to possession and use, with penalties that could range from two to five years in prison, in addition to harsher penalties if the offense occurs near public places or educational and sports facilities, hospitals, schools, and places of worship.
The laws allow the public prosecutor to postpone filing criminal charges on the condition that the accused commits to a recovery program for one year, after which their criminal record will be cleared if they meet the program's requirements.
These developments come as part of intensive security campaigns that began last October, resulting in the arrest of dozens of celebrities and confirming drug use among some of them, including actor Onur Tuna and singer Mabel Matiz, while other campaigns have proven the innocence of names like Serenay Sarıkaya.
