Riyadh is preparing to open a new chapter in its entertainment seasons, with the upcoming launch of the seventh edition of "Riyadh Season" on October 21, which will last for 10 weeks. The capital is once again presenting a busy schedule filled with sports, music, theater, and family experiences.
The announcement, made by the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Counselor Turki Al Sheikh, through a teaser video, provided initial outlines for a season that seems to rely more on the diversity of experiences; it combines boxing and wrestling matches, along with UFC championships, alongside the "Six Kings Slam" tennis tournament, in addition to musical concerts, theatrical performances, comedy shows, and experiences aimed at children and families.
This diversity reveals an equation that the season has established over its successive editions; the event is no longer tied to a single entertainment style, but has become a broad umbrella under which activities with different audiences operate, offering visitors options that range from major sports competitions to cultural and entertainment experiences.
At the heart of this map, "Boulevard World" returns, representing a window to cultures, cities, and global experiences, alongside "Boulevard City" and "Wonder Garden," while areas like "The Groves" and "Farmers Market," and the "I Am Arab" exhibition in "Via Riyadh" are also present.
With more than three weeks to go before the kickoff, the announcement raises the bar of anticipation for a version that bets on the density of options rather than relying on a single event; Riyadh is preparing for 10 weeks where sports, arts, and family activities coexist, within a season that reintroduces its slogan "Big Time" as a title for an experience that brings the world together in one city.
