ثارت واقعة اقتحام غريبة في مدينة باد زالتسوفلن الألمانية دهشة الشرطة، بعدما دخل لص إلى أحد المقاهي ليلاً، لكنه تجاهل صندوق النقود تمامًا واكتفى بسرقة كعكة وعبوتين من المثلجات قبل أن يغادر المكان بهدوء.
وقالت شرطة ولاية شمال الراين-ويستفاليا: إن الجاني ركّز اهتمامه على الحلويات المعروضة داخل المقهى، ولم يحاول كسر صندوق النقود أو الاستيلاء على أي مبالغ مالية، في سلوك غير مألوف بالنسبة لعمليات الاقتحام المعتادة.
وتبحث السلطات عن هوية المشتبه به، بينما تحاول فهم الدافع وراء هذه السرقة غير التقليدية. وقال متحدث باسم الشرطة إنهم لا يعرفون بعد ما إذا كان اللص قد خطط لسرقة «غنيمة حلوة» تحديدًا، أم أن نوبة جوع مفاجئة دفعته إلى هذا التصرف أثناء ارتكاب الجريمة.
ولا تزال الشرطة تحقق في ملابسات الحادثة التي انتهت بكعكة وعبوتين من الآيس كريم بدلًا من الأموال، وسط تفاعل واسع على مواقع التواصل مع غرابة الواقعة.
A strange burglary incident in the German city of Bad Salzuflen surprised the police, as a thief entered a café at night but completely ignored the cash register and only stole a cake and two containers of ice cream before leaving the place quietly.
The North Rhine-Westphalia police stated that the perpetrator focused his attention on the sweets displayed inside the café and did not attempt to break into the cash register or seize any money, in an unusual behavior for typical burglary operations.
The authorities are searching for the identity of the suspect while trying to understand the motive behind this unconventional theft. A police spokesperson said they do not yet know whether the thief specifically planned to steal a "sweet loot" or if a sudden hunger pang drove him to this behavior while committing the crime.
The police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident, which ended with a cake and two containers of ice cream instead of money, amid widespread reactions on social media regarding the strangeness of the incident.
