تحول خلاف منزلي حول النظافة الشخصية إلى ملف رسمي أمام هيئة حماية المرأة في ولاية أتر برديش شمالي الهند، بعدما قرر زوج إنهاء عقد قرانه عقب عامين فقط من الزفاف.
وبحسب موقع «نيوز 18» الهندي، فإن الزوج أرجع رغبته الحادة في الانفصال إلى رفض زوجته المكرر للاستحمام بشكل يومي، مؤكداً أن هذا السلوك تحول إلى شرارة يومية للنزاعات اللفظية والمشاحنات التي جعلت الاستمرار معها أمراً مستحيلاً، رغم وجود طفل بينهما لم يتجاوز عامه الأول.
وفي محاولة لإنقاذ الأسرة، لجأت الزوجة إلى هيئة حماية المرأة للتدخل وإيقاف إجراءات الطلاق، لتجد الهيئة نفسها أمام موقف غير تقليدي يتطلب التوفيق بين الطرفين، حيث بدأت بالفعل في إخضاعهما لجلسات تأهيل واستشارات نفسية، مراهنة على أن الأزمة يمكن حلها بالتفاهم وتغيير السلوكيات دون تدمير العائلة.
A domestic dispute over personal hygiene turned into an official case before the Women's Protection Authority in Uttar Pradesh, northern India, after a husband decided to end his marriage just two years after the wedding.
According to the Indian website "News 18," the husband attributed his strong desire for separation to his wife's repeated refusal to shower daily, asserting that this behavior had become a daily spark for verbal disputes and arguments that made continuing with her impossible, despite having a child between them who had not yet turned one.
In an attempt to save the family, the wife turned to the Women's Protection Authority for intervention and to halt the divorce proceedings, only to find the authority facing an unconventional situation that required reconciliation between the two parties. They began subjecting them to rehabilitation sessions and psychological counseling, betting that the crisis could be resolved through understanding and changing behaviors without destroying the family.
