أصدر رئيس تحرير «عكاظ» المشرف العام على «Saudi Gazette» الزميل جميل الذيابي، قراراً بتكليف الزميل عبدالعزيز النهدي برئاسة القسم الرياضي، في إطار توجّه الصحيفة نحو تمكين الكفاءات الشابة، وتعزيز حضورها في مواقع المسؤولية، وتطوير الأداء التحريري في مختلف أقسامها.
ويُعد الزميل النهدي من الكفاءات الإعلامية، ويمتلك خبرة مهنية في الشأن الرياضي وإدارة العمل التحريري، وسبق له العمل في عدد من المواقع الإعلامية والرياضية. كما يحمل درجة الماجستير في إدارة المعلومات، ويتمتع بخبرة وكفاءة في إعداد وتحرير المواد الرياضية، ومتابعة مختلف القضايا والفعاليات الرياضية.
وقدّم رئيس التحرير شكره للزميل عادل النجار، على جهوده خلال فترة رئاسته القسم الرياضي، مثمناً ما قدّمه من جهودٍ مهنيةٍ خلال الفترة الماضية، ومتمنياً للزميل عبدالعزيز النهدي التوفيق في مهمته الجديدة، ومواصلة تطوير العمل الرياضي وتعزيز حضوره التحريري بما يواكب تطلعات «عكاظ».
The Editor-in-Chief of "Okaz" and the General Supervisor of "Saudi Gazette," colleague Jamil Al-Dhiabi, has issued a decision to appoint colleague Abdulaziz Al-Nahdi as the head of the sports section, as part of the newspaper's direction towards empowering young talents, enhancing their presence in positions of responsibility, and developing editorial performance across its various departments.
Colleague Al-Nahdi is considered a media talent, possessing professional experience in sports affairs and editorial management. He has previously worked in several media and sports outlets. He also holds a master's degree in information management and has expertise and competence in preparing and editing sports materials, as well as following up on various sports issues and events.
The Editor-in-Chief expressed his gratitude to colleague Adel Al-Najjar for his efforts during his tenure as head of the sports section, appreciating the professional contributions he made during the past period. He wished colleague Abdulaziz Al-Nahdi success in his new role and the continuation of developing sports work and enhancing its editorial presence in line with the aspirations of "Okaz."
