استهلّت مدرسة متوسطة في مدينة إزمير التركية عامها الدراسي بمشهد غير مألوف أثار دهشة المعلمين والطلاب على حدّ سواء، بعدما استقبلت 54 تلميذًا من التوائم، يشكّلون 27 زوجًا في الوقت نفسه، في ظاهرة نادرة تحوّلت سريعًا إلى حديث وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
وانتشرت صور ومقاطع تُظهر التوائم وهم يقفون إلى جانب أشقائهم في ساحات المدرسة وممراتها، في مشهد أربك المعلمين الذين وجدوا صعوبة في التمييز بينهم، خصوصًا مع ارتداء الزي المدرسي الموحد الذي زاد من تشابههم.
وتوزّع التوائم على صفوف ومراحل دراسية مختلفة، فيما انضم هذا العام تسعة أزواج جدد؛ ما جعل المدرسة وجهة مفضلة للعائلات التي لديها أطفال توائم، حتى باتت تُعرف في المدينة باسم (مدرسة التوائم).
وتحمل المدرسة تاريخًا طويلًا مع هذه الظاهرة، إذ تخرّج منها منذ تأسيسها قبل نحو 25 عامًا ما يقارب 212 زوجًا من التوائم؛ أي 424 طالبًا توأمًا، ما جعلها واحدة من أكثر المدارس التركية ارتباطًا بهذه الحالات الفريدة.
وتحوّل المشهد إلى مادة لافتة على منصات التواصل، حيث عبّر كثيرون عن دهشتهم من العدد الكبير للتوائم في مدرسة واحدة، بينما تداول آخرون تعليقات طريفة حول التحديات التي قد يواجهها المعلمون في التفريق بين الطلاب خلال الحصص الدراسية.
A middle school in the Turkish city of Izmir began its academic year with an unusual scene that astonished both teachers and students alike, as it welcomed 54 students who are twins, forming 27 pairs at the same time, in a rare phenomenon that quickly became the talk of social media.
Photos and clips circulated showing the twins standing alongside their siblings in the schoolyards and hallways, in a scene that confused teachers who found it difficult to distinguish between them, especially with the uniform school attire that increased their resemblance.
The twins are distributed across different grades and educational stages, while this year nine new pairs joined; making the school a preferred destination for families with twin children, to the point that it has become known in the city as the (Twin School).
The school has a long history with this phenomenon, as nearly 212 pairs of twins have graduated from it since its establishment about 25 years ago; that is, 424 twin students, making it one of the Turkish schools most associated with these unique cases.
The scene turned into a striking subject on social media platforms, where many expressed their astonishment at the large number of twins in one school, while others shared humorous comments about the challenges teachers might face in distinguishing between students during class.
