أثار مقطع فيديو متداول على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي في مصر موجة واسعة من الغضب، بعدما ظهر أحد ركاب القطارات وهو يعمد إلى نزع مرآة داخل دورة المياه في قطار متجه إلى محافظة مطروح، قبل أن يرميها خارج النافذة ويوثق فعلته بهدف نشرها عبر منصة (تيك توك).
وبمجرد انتشار الفيديو، أعلنت وزارة النقل تنسيقها مع وزارة الداخلية وشرطة النقل والمواصلات لتحديد هوية الشاب واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحقه، مؤكدة أن ما قام به يمثل اعتداءً صريحًا على ممتلكات عامة مملوكة للشعب المصري، ولا يمكن تبريره بأي ادعاء يتعلق بسعر التذكرة أو مستوى الخدمة.
وشددت الوزارة على أن المرافق العامة ليست مجالًا للعبث أو التخريب، وأن أي ملاحظات يمكن تقديمها عبر القنوات الرسمية المخصصة لاستقبال شكاوى الركاب، مؤكدة أنها لن تتهاون مع أي سلوك يضر بممتلكات السكك الحديدية أو يعطل الخدمات.
وفي بيان لاحق، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية ضبط الشاب في نطاق محافظة مطروح، حيث أقر خلال التحقيقات بأنه ارتكب الواقعة بدافع اللهو، وأن نشر الفيديو كان بهدف زيادة المشاهدات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي. وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه.
وتحذر الجهات المختصة من أن أعمال التخريب لا تقتصر على إتلاف الممتلكات فحسب، بل تُهدر المال العام وتحمّل الدولة تكاليف إضافية لإصلاح التلفيات، في وقت تُخصص فيه هذه الموارد لتحسين الخدمات وتطوير مرافق النقل.
A widely circulated video on social media in Egypt has sparked a wave of anger after it showed a train passenger deliberately removing a mirror from a restroom in a train heading to Matrouh Governorate, before throwing it out of the window and documenting his act with the intention of posting it on TikTok.
As soon as the video spread, the Ministry of Transport announced its coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the Transport Police to identify the young man and take legal action against him, emphasizing that his actions represent a blatant assault on public property owned by the Egyptian people, which cannot be justified by any claim related to ticket prices or service levels.
The ministry stressed that public facilities are not a playground for vandalism or destruction, and that any complaints can be submitted through the official channels designated for receiving passenger grievances, asserting that it will not tolerate any behavior that harms railway property or disrupts services.
In a subsequent statement, the Ministry of Interior announced the young man's arrest in the Matrouh Governorate, where he admitted during the investigations that he committed the act for fun, and that the video was posted to increase views on social media. Necessary legal actions were taken against him.
Authorities warn that acts of vandalism not only damage property but also waste public funds and impose additional costs on the state for repairs, at a time when these resources are allocated to improve services and develop transport facilities.
