رئيس الديوان العام للمحاسبة يشارك في اجتماع رؤساء دواوين الرقابة الخليجية بالبحرين

The President of the General Court of Audit, Dr. Hussam bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Anqari, participated in the twenty-third meeting of the heads of financial control and auditing offices in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held today in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting addressed several topics related to enhancing cooperation and partnership between the public financial control and auditing offices in the Gulf countries. It reviewed the report from the General Secretariat regarding the training programs implemented for the personnel of the Gulf financial control and auditing offices in the years 2025 and 2026; this is in line with the objectives and initiatives aimed at developing and qualifying auditors in the counterpart Gulf agencies. The participants in the meeting also reviewed the results of the study on the recommendations included in the winning research from the "Gulf Cooperation Council Research and Studies Competition in the Field of Control and Auditing," in its sixth edition, as well as the topics for its seventh session. Additionally, several other items listed on the meeting's agenda were discussed, and necessary actions were taken regarding them.

As part of the meeting's activities, the Executive Director of the Financial Performance, Education, and Human Resources Group at the General Court of Audit, Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Nasser, was honored among a group of distinguished individuals from the public financial control and auditing offices in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. This recognition is part of an annual initiative carried out by the Gulf agencies to honor those who excel in auditing work within these agencies.

For his part, Al-Nasser expressed his pride in this honor, affirming that it serves as a significant motivator and encouragement for the personnel of the counterpart Gulf agencies to exert more effort to achieve the objectives of those agencies. He also appreciated the substantial support he and his colleagues at the court receive from the President of the General Court of Audit to carry out auditing work with the highest levels of professionalism and efficiency.
