تخيل أن تقضي سنوات طفولتك الكاملة محروماً من رؤية الشمس، ليس داخل جدران منزل مغلق، بل حبيساً في مقصورة نوم ضيقة خلف شاحنة نقل ثقيلة تقطع الطريق السريع بين ميامي وأتلانتا ذهاباً وإياباً بلا توقف!
هذا الكابوس الذي يفوق الخيال كشفت عنه وثائق قضائية هزت ولاية فلوريدا الأمريكية، عقب توجيه اتهامات ثقيلة لشخصين (كيشا إبس وتامرا ستيوارت) بتحويل شاحنتهما إلى «معتقل متحرك»، واحتجاز أربعة أطفال داخلها منذ عام 2019 في ظروف تتنافى مع أدنى مقومات الإنسانية.
وأفادت التحقيقات بأن الأطفال الأربعة تشاركوا سريراً ضيقاً لا يتسع حتى لاستلقاء أحدهم بشكل مريح، وكانت فرصة خروجهم لرؤية النور أو استخدام دورة المياه خياراً نادراً للغاية. ومرت سنوات طويلة دون أن يدخل أي منهم مدرسة، أو ينعموا بطعام كافٍ ونظافة شخصية، لدرجة تسجيل إصابة أحدهم بحروق بليغة تُركت بلا علاج، فيما عانى آخر من عدوى خطيرة دون أي رعاية طبية.
ولم تتوقف المأساة عند حد العزل والتجويع، بل أخذت الجريمة منحى أكثر ظلاماً بعد تكشف اعتداءات جسدية وجنسية مروعة تعرض لها الصغار داخل الكابينة المغلقة، وسط صمت وتجاهل تام من المتهمتين اللتين ألقيتا باللوم على الضحايا.
ووصف المدعي العام مقصورة الشاحنة بأنها كانت بمثابة «سجن متجول» ينتهك إنسانية الأطفال على مدار الساعة. ورغم نجاح السلطات أخيراً في فك أسر الأطفال الأربعة وإبعادهم عن جحيم الشاحنة، إلا أن التحقيقات لا تزال تتصاعد لكشف كواليس هذه المأساة وإنزال أقصى العقوبات بحق الجناة.

This nightmare beyond imagination was revealed by court documents that shook the state of Florida, following serious charges against two individuals (Kesha Epps and Tamra Stewart) for turning their truck into a "mobile prison" and holding four children inside it since 2019 under conditions that defy the most basic standards of humanity.
Investigations indicated that the four children shared a narrow bed that could barely accommodate one of them comfortably, and their opportunity to see the light or use the bathroom was an extremely rare option. Many years passed without any of them attending school, or enjoying sufficient food and personal hygiene, to the extent that one of them suffered severe burns that were left untreated, while another endured a serious infection without any medical care.
The tragedy did not stop at isolation and starvation; the crime took a darker turn after horrific physical and sexual assaults against the children inside the closed cabin were uncovered, amidst complete silence and disregard from the accused, who blamed the victims.
The prosecutor described the truck compartment as a "traveling prison" that violated the humanity of the children around the clock. Although authorities finally succeeded in freeing the four children and removing them from the hell of the truck, investigations are still escalating to uncover the details of this tragedy and impose the harshest penalties on the perpetrators.
