تُوّج فريق هيئة الهلال الأحمر السعودي بكأس العالم للإسعافات الأولية، محققًا إنجازًا عالميًا يعكس كفاءة الكوادر الوطنية وتميزها في مجالات الإسعافات الأولية والتوعية المجتمعية.
وجاء تتويج الفريق خلال منافسات البطولة التي أقيمت في دبي بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة خلال الفترة من 24 إلى 26 أغسطس 2026، بمشاركة فرق من جمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر من مختلف أنحاء العالم، ونُظمت بالتعاون بين الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر (IFRC) ومنظمة DIHAD Sustainable Organisation.
وحقق الهلال الأحمر السعودي المركز الأول في تحدي التوعية المجتمعية، إلى جانب حصوله على المركز الثاني في تحدي الابتكار في الإسعافات الأولية والإنعاش، والمركز الثالث في تحدي الاستجابة للإسعافات الأولية المبنية على السيناريوهات.
وتعكس المشاركة المستوى المتقدم الذي وصلت إليه الهيئة في تطوير قدراتها الإسعافية والإنسانية، كما أتاحت تبادل الخبرات والاطلاع على التجارب الدولية وتطوير مهارات الكوادر الوطنية، بما يسهم في رفع جودة البرامج التدريبية والتوعوية، وتعزيز جاهزية المجتمع للتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة.
كما أسهمت المشاركة في إبراز التجربة السعودية في مجال الإسعافات الأولية، وتعزيز حضور الهيئة في منظومة العمل الإنساني الدولي، ودعم جهود المملكة في نشر ثقافة الإسعافات الأولية وحماية الأرواح.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority team was crowned with the World Cup for First Aid, achieving a global accomplishment that reflects the efficiency and excellence of national cadres in the fields of first aid and community awareness.
The team's crowning took place during the championship held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from August 24 to 26, 2026, with the participation of teams from Red Cross and Red Crescent societies from around the world. The event was organized in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the DIHAD Sustainable Organisation.
The Saudi Red Crescent achieved first place in the Community Awareness Challenge, in addition to securing second place in the Innovation in First Aid and Resuscitation Challenge, and third place in the Scenario-Based First Aid Response Challenge.
This participation reflects the advanced level the authority has reached in developing its first aid and humanitarian capabilities. It also allowed for the exchange of experiences, gaining insights into international practices, and enhancing the skills of national cadres, contributing to improving the quality of training and awareness programs, and strengthening the community's readiness to deal with emergencies.
Moreover, the participation highlighted the Saudi experience in the field of first aid, enhanced the authority's presence in the international humanitarian work system, and supported the Kingdom's efforts in promoting first aid culture and protecting lives.
