في لحظات خاطفة، تحولت رحلة أسرية على طريق مطروح الساحلي إلى مسرح لفاجعة مروعة، بعدما اختلت عجلة القيادة وانقلبت السيارة التي تستقلها العائلة لتنهي حياة البطلة الصغرى في زهرة عمرها، وتأخذ معها في طريق الموت والدتها وجدتها، بينما يرقد شقيقها في المستشفى يصارع آلام الإصابة وصدمة الفقد.
وكانت غرفة العمليات تلقت بلاغاً عاجلاً عن وقوع حادثة انقلاب سيارة مهول ووجود وفيات ومصابين، وعلى الفور هرعت سيارات الإسعاف ورجال المباحث والمرور إلى موقع الحادثة لرفع حطام السيارة وإعادة فتح الطريق.
وبالمعاينة الميدانية والطبية، تبين أن قوة الحادثة لم تترك أي فرصة لنجاة اللاعبة الناشئة أو والدتها وجدتها، ليتم نقل أجسادهن إلى المستشفى وسط حالة من الذهول والأسى بين المارة ورجال المرور الحاضرين.
هذه المأساة لم تكن فقط في غياب 3 أنفس من عائلة واحدة، بل في انطفاء شعلة موهبة استثنائية كانت تُعد واحدة من أبرز الوجوه الصاعدة في عالم الجمباز والأيروبيك بمصر، إذ نجحت ناتالي ريمون أخيراً في اقتناص المركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية على مستوى الجمهورية المصرية بفضل تدريباتها الشاقة وطموحها الكبير.
ويمكن القول إن ناتالي رحلت وتوشحت صفحات التواصل الاجتماعي بالسواد حزناً على «زهرة الجمباز»، لتبقى الميدالية الذهبية شاهدة على حلم جميل اغتالته يد القدر على طريق مطروح.

The operations room received an urgent report about a horrific car accident with fatalities and injuries, and immediately, ambulances and traffic police rushed to the scene of the incident to clear the wreckage of the car and reopen the road.
Upon field and medical examination, it became clear that the force of the accident left no chance for the young player, her mother, or her grandmother to survive, and their bodies were transported to the hospital amid a state of shock and sorrow among passersby and the present traffic officers.
This tragedy was not only about the loss of three lives from one family, but also about the extinguishing of an exceptional talent that was considered one of the most prominent rising stars in the world of gymnastics and aerobics in Egypt, as Natalie Raymond had finally succeeded in clinching the first place and the gold medal at the national level in Egypt thanks to her hard training and great ambition.
