في مشاهد عابرة للحدود وخارج المألوف، عاشت أجزاء واسعة من أوروبا كابوساً جميلاً وظلاماً دامساً في وضح النهار مع أول كسوف كلي تشهده إسبانيا منذ أكثر من قرن، بينما كانت المفاجأة الكبرى تكمن في توثيق هذا الحدث الفلكي المرعب من عمق الفضاء الخارجي.
بينما احتشد نحو 6 ملايين شخص على الأرض لمتابعة المسار التاريخي للكسوف الذي امتد لمسافة 200 كيلومتر من لاكورونيا الإسبانية وحتى جزيرة مايوركا، كان لأقمار المراقبة رأي آخر، إذ نشر حساب «زووم إيرث» الشهير على منصة «إكس» لقطات استثنائية يظهر فيها ظل القمر وهو يبتلع نور الشمس من الفضاء الخارجي في لقطة أحدثت ضجة عارمة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
وكأنه «ليلة في وضح النهار»، شوهد كوكب الأرض من منظور آخر، حيث تحولت السماء في مناطق متفرقة تشمل أجزاء من البرتغال وغرينلاند وآيسلندا إلى لوحة معتمة تماماً لعدة دقائق، وسط أجواء من الذهول والترقب بين ملايين البشر الذين تابعوا تحول النهار الساطع إلى ليلة مظلمة مخيفة.
ومع تداول اللقطات الكونية والأرضية على نطاق واسع، نجحت هذه الظاهرة الفريدة في خطف أنظار الملايين، مسببة موجة تفاعلات واسعة جعلت العالم يتسمر أمام الشاشات ليرى كيف يبدو وجه الأرض عندما تختفي الشمس تماماً من الأعلى.
In scenes that crossed borders and defied the ordinary, large parts of Europe experienced a beautiful nightmare and complete darkness in broad daylight with the first total eclipse witnessed in Spain in over a century, while the biggest surprise lay in documenting this terrifying astronomical event from the depths of outer space.
As around 6 million people gathered on the ground to follow the historical path of the eclipse, which stretched 200 kilometers from La Coruña in Spain to the island of Mallorca, the observation satellites had a different perspective. The famous "Zoom Earth" account on the platform "X" published exceptional footage showing the shadow of the moon swallowing the light of the sun from outer space, a clip that caused an uproar on social media platforms.
As if it were "night in broad daylight," the planet Earth was seen from another perspective, where the sky in scattered areas including parts of Portugal, Greenland, and Iceland turned into a completely dark canvas for several minutes, amidst an atmosphere of astonishment and anticipation among the millions who watched the transformation of bright day into a frightening dark night.
With cosmic and terrestrial footage circulating widely, this unique phenomenon succeeded in capturing the attention of millions, causing a wave of reactions that made the world glued to their screens to see what the face of the Earth looks like when the sun completely disappears from above.
