وتشير تقارير الأرصاد إلى أن هذه العواصف جزء من ظاهرة مناخية تُعرف بـ(الرينغ أوف فاير)؛ وهي نمط جوي يؤدي إلى موجات متتابعة من العواصف الشديدة على أطراف منطقة ضغط مرتفع، ما يجعل تأثيرها ممتدًا ويزيد من احتمالات الفيضانات والأضرار الميدانية.
