شهد تطبيق «واتساب» طرح تحديث جديد يضم مجموعة من المزايا التي تستهدف تحسين تجربة الاستخدام عبر الهواتف والأجهزة اللوحية والحواسيب، مع توسيع وظائف التطبيق بما يتجاوز المراسلة التقليدية.
ويتيح التحديث للمستخدمين إنشاء حساب «واتساب» مباشرة من أجهزة iPad دون الحاجة إلى ربطه بهاتف ذكي، ما يمنح مستخدمي الأجهزة اللوحية مرونة أكبر في إدارة حساباتهم والاستفادة من جميع مزايا التطبيق. كما عزّز «واتساب» تجربة الاستخدام داخل السيارات عبر نظامَي «Apple CarPlay» و«Android Auto»، إذ أصبح بالإمكان الاستماع إلى الرسائل والرد عليها، وإجراء المكالمات، والوصول إلى جهات الاتصال من شاشة السيارة باستخدام الأوامر الصوتية. وشمل التحديث أيضاً دعم فتح ملفات PDF داخل نسختَي الويب وسطح المكتب، مع توفير أدوات بسيطة لإضافة الملاحظات وتحديد النصوص، بالتعاون مع «Adobe Acrobat»، دون الحاجة إلى استخدام تطبيقات خارجية.
وفي جانب التفاعل، أضاف «واتساب» إمكانية مشاركة الأغاني مباشرة من منصتَي «Apple Music» و«Spotify» إلى «الحالة»، بما يمنح المستخدمين وسيلة جديدة لمشاركة اهتماماتهم الموسيقية مع الأصدقاء.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن جهود «ميتا» لتطوير «واتساب» وتحويله إلى منصة أكثر تكاملاً تدعم التواصل والإنتاجية عبر مختلف الأجهزة.

Additionally, "WhatsApp" has enhanced the user experience inside cars through the "Apple CarPlay" and "Android Auto" systems, as it is now possible to listen to messages and respond to them, make calls, and access contacts from the car's screen using voice commands. The update also included support for opening PDF files within the web and desktop versions, providing simple tools for adding notes and highlighting text, in collaboration with "Adobe Acrobat," without the need to use external applications.
On the interaction side, "WhatsApp" has added the ability to share songs directly from "Apple Music" and "Spotify" to "Status," giving users a new way to share their musical interests with friends.
This move is part of "Meta's" efforts to develop "WhatsApp" and transform it into a more integrated platform that supports communication and productivity across various devices.
