أصيب 25 شخصاً بينهم 10 إصابات خطرة إثر حادثة تصادم ترام بمدينة جيلزنكيرشن غرب ألمانيا.
وأفادت الشرطة الألمانية أن تراماً مخصصاً لتدريب السائقين توقف فجأة في وسط المدينة بالقرب من ملعب فيلتينس أرينا ما أدى إلى اصطدام الترام الذي كان يسير خلفه، مضيفةً أنه وفقاً للمعطيات الحالية، أصيب سبعة من بين المصابين الـ25 بجروح خطيرة، ولا يستبعد وجود خطر على حياة ثلاثة آخرين.
وأشارت الشرطة إلى أن سبب التوقف المفاجئ لترام التدريب في الشارع الرئيسي لا يزال قيد التحقيق، مبينة أن فريقاً متخصصاً في توثيق حوادث المرور موجود في موقع الحادثة إلى جانب عدد من سيارات الإسعاف.
وبقيت المنطقة المحيطة بمكان الحادثة مغلقة حتى بعد مرور ساعات على الحادثة التي وقعت ظهراً، واستمر توقف حركة الترام في الاتجاهين بالكامل حتى الساعة الرابعة عصراً التي أعيد فيها فتح أحد مساري الطريق، بينما ظل المسار المؤدي إلى وسط المدينة مغلقاً لفترة أطول بسبب أعمال رفع الترامين المتضررين.

The German police reported that a tram designated for driver training suddenly stopped in the city center near the Veltins Arena, leading to a collision with the tram that was traveling behind it. They added that, according to current data, seven out of the 25 injured sustained serious injuries, and there is a risk to the lives of three others.
The police indicated that the cause of the sudden stop of the training tram on the main street is still under investigation, noting that a specialized team for documenting traffic accidents is present at the scene, along with several ambulances.
The area surrounding the accident site remained closed even hours after the incident, which occurred in the afternoon, and tram services in both directions were completely halted until 4 PM, when one lane of the road was reopened, while the lane leading to the city center remained closed for a longer period due to the recovery of the damaged trams.
