حذرت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية اليابانية من استمرار موجة الحر الشديدة التي تشهدها البلاد؛ حيث تواصل درجات الحرارة ارتفاعها اليوم في العديد من المناطق الواقعة شرق وغرب اليابان.
وأفادت الهيئة -وفقًا لهيئة الإذاعة اليابانية (إن إتش كيه)- بأن درجات الحرارة اقتربت من 40 درجة مئوية في منطقتي «توكاي» و«كيوشو»، فيما سجلت درجة الحرارة العظمى في العاصمة «طوكيو» 36.5 درجة مئوية، محذرة من ضربات الشمس في 30 محافظة من أصل 47، وذلك في المناطق الممتدة من منطقة «كانتو» في الشرق إلى منطقة «كيوشو» ومحافظة «أوكيناوا» في الجنوب الغربي.
وأوصت الهيئة المواطنين بتجنب البقاء في الخارج لفترات طويلة واستخدام مكيفات الهواء وشرب كميات كافية من السوائل.
The Japan Meteorological Agency has warned of the continuation of the severe heatwave affecting the country, as temperatures continue to rise today in many areas located in the east and west of Japan.
The agency reported - according to the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) - that temperatures have approached 40 degrees Celsius in the "Tokai" and "Kyushu" regions, while the maximum temperature recorded in the capital "Tokyo" was 36.5 degrees Celsius. It warned of the risk of heatstroke in 30 out of 47 prefectures, particularly in areas extending from the "Kanto" region in the east to the "Kyushu" region and "Okinawa" prefecture in the southwest.
The agency advised citizens to avoid staying outdoors for long periods, to use air conditioning, and to drink adequate amounts of fluids.
