ولم تشهد اليونان بشكل كبير موجات حارة حتى الآن هذا العام، لكن في السنوات الأخيرة، خلقت الفترات الطويلة من الحر الشديد والجفاف والرياح العاتية الظروف المثالية لحرائق الغابات.

Dozens of firefighters have been deployed across the Cyclades island since yesterday, and authorities have requested reinforcements from the nearby islands of Naxos and Syros, as well as from the mainland, Kathimerini.
Greece has not experienced significant heatwaves so far this year, but in recent years, prolonged periods of extreme heat, drought, and strong winds have created the perfect conditions for wildfires.
