تتفنّن عصابات تهريب المخدرات في إيجاد أساليب مبتكرة للتمويه وتجاوز الرقابة، لكن يقظة رجال الجمارك تقف دائماً بالمرصاد لفك شفرات أكثر المحاولات تعقيداً. ففي حادثة أمنية لافتة، تحول طرد بريدي عادي قادم عبر الشحن الجوي ومكتوب عليه «تمر» إلى شحنة ملغومة بمواد مخدرة جرى حشوها بدقة متناهية داخل حبات الفاكهة بدلاً من النواة!
كشفت الإدارة العامة للجمارك في الكويت تفاصيل الشحنة المشبوهة القادمة من مملكة تايلند بعد إخضاعها لإجراءات التفتيش الدقيق:
- الاشتباه والتدقيق: ساهمت حساسية المفتشين في الجمارك الجوية بوضع الطرد الموصوف بـ«التمر» تحت المجهر لإعادة فحصه.
- المضبوطات: أسفر التفتيش عن ضبط 104 قطع من مادة الماريجوانا المخدرة، يبلغ وزنها الإجمالي نحو 549 غراماً.
- طريقة إخفاء مبتكرة: تم تفريغ حبات التمر وحشوها بعناية فائقة بالمادة المخدرة لإيهام رجال الأمن بأنها شحنة غذائية طبيعية وتجاوز أجهزة المسح الضوئي.
لم تتوقف العملية عند حدود كشف الطرد وإحباط دخول السموم إلى الكويت، بل استُكملت الخطة لإسقاط العقل المدبر للشحنة:
- تنسيق أمني مشترك: جرى التنسيق الفوري بين إدارة الجمارك والإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات والخمور لإعداد كمين محكم.
- القبض على المتهم: أُلقي القبض على المتهم متلبساً أثناء حضوره لتسلم الطرد البريدي.
- إحالة للنيابة: باشرت الجهات المختصة إعداد محضر ضبط رسمي، وتحويل المتهم والمضبوطات إلى جهات الاختصاص للتحقيق واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية الرادعة بحقه.
وتُثبت الواقعة أن ابتكار أساليب التمويه التقليدية، كحشو الفواكه والأطعمة بالسموم، لم يعد مجدياً أمام احترافية فرق التفتيش الجمركي والتنسيق الميداني السريع مع أجهزة مكافحة المخدرات في الخليج.

- Seizures: The inspection resulted in the confiscation of 104 pieces of marijuana, with a total weight of about 549 grams.
- Innovative concealment method: The date pits were emptied and carefully filled with the narcotic substance to mislead security officials into believing it was a natural food shipment and to evade scanning devices.
The operation did not stop at uncovering the package and thwarting the entry of toxins into Kuwait; the plan continued to apprehend the mastermind behind the shipment:
- Joint security coordination: Immediate coordination took place between the customs department and the General Administration for Drug and Alcohol Control to set up a tight ambush.
- Arrest of the suspect: The suspect was caught red-handed while attempting to collect the postal package.
- Referral to prosecution: The relevant authorities began preparing an official seizure report and referred the suspect and the confiscated items to the appropriate authorities for investigation and to take legal action against him.
This incident proves that traditional methods of disguise, such as stuffing fruits and foods with toxins, are no longer effective against the professionalism of customs inspection teams and the rapid field coordination with drug enforcement agencies in the Gulf.
