رفعت السلطات الإيطالية مستوى التأهب إلى الدرجة القصوى في عدد من المدن، مع استمرار موجة الحر الشديدة التي تضرب مناطق واسعة من أوروبا وتدفع درجات الحرارة إلى مستويات خطيرة.
وأعلنت الجهات الصحية حالة الإنذار الأحمر في 14 مدينة، محذرة من التداعيات الصحية لارتفاع درجات الحرارة، خصوصا على كبار السن والأطفال والفئات الأكثر عرضة للمخاطر.
كما سجلت عواصم الأقاليم الإيطالية إنذارات حرارية مرتفعة، وسط توقعات باستمرار تأثير الموجة الحارة خلال الأيام القادمة، ما دفع السلطات إلى تعزيز التحذيرات ودعوة السكان إلى اتخاذ إجراءات وقائية.
ويعتمد نظام الإنذار الحراري في إيطاليا على ثلاثة مستويات؛ حيث يشير اللون الأصفر إلى مرحلة ما قبل الخطر، بينما يعكس اللون البرتقالي وجود مخاطر صحية محتملة بسبب ارتفاع درجات الحرارة، في حين يمثل اللون الأحمر أعلى درجات التحذير، ويعني أن الظروف الجوية قد تشكل خطرًا على صحة جميع السكان.

Health authorities declared a red alert in 14 cities, warning of the health implications of rising temperatures, particularly for the elderly, children, and the most vulnerable groups.
Italian regional capitals have also recorded high heat alerts, amid expectations that the heatwave will continue to affect the region in the coming days, prompting authorities to enhance warnings and urge residents to take precautionary measures.
The heat alert system in Italy is based on three levels; the yellow color indicates a pre-danger stage, while the orange color reflects potential health risks due to rising temperatures, and the red color represents the highest level of warning, meaning that the weather conditions may pose a risk to the health of the entire population.
