لم تتوقف مأساة الفيضانات المدمرة التي تضرب الصين عند حد غرق المنازل والشوارع، بل تحول المشهد فجأة إلى فيلم رعب حقيقي على أرض الواقع، حيث تستعد مدينة كاملة لمواجهة جيش من «الضيوف غير المرغوب فيهم» يسبحون بكثافة وسط المياه التي غمرت الأحياء السكنية.
وكشفت تقارير صحفية دولية عن واقعة مرعبة وصادمة، بعدما غزا نحو 900 ثعبان، كثير منها من الأنواع شديدة السمية والقاتلة، مدينة «هنغتشو» الواقعة في مقاطعة غوانغشي جنوبي الصين، مما جعل حياة نحو مليون مواطن يسكنون المدينة في خطر داهم ومباشر من هذه الكائنات الزاحفة.
الكوبرا تقتل في الشوارع
الحكاية بدأت بعد أن ضرب إعصار فائق القوة وتسونامي من الأمطار الغزيرة المنطقة، مما أدى إلى تدمير وانهيار مزارع ضخمة مخصصة لتربية الزواحف والأفاعي. ومع اندفاع مياه الفيضانات، تحررت مئات الثعابين من أقفاصها لتجد طريقها مباشرة إلى شوارع المدينة المغمورة.
وجاءت الحصيلة الأولية مرعبة، فوفقاً لشبكة «سي إن إن» الإخبارية، سُجلت بالفعل حالات وفاة وإصابات، حيث توفيت امرأة صينية على الفور بعد أن لدغتها أفعى يشتبه في أنها من نوع «الكوبرا الشرسة» الهاربة، كما أفادت وسائل الإعلام الرسمية بتعرض عدد آخر من المواطنين للدغات خطيرة نُقلوا على إثرها للمستشفيات.
ونشر السكان المنكوبون مقاطع فيديو تقشعر لها الأبدان، تظهر فيها الأفاعي الضخمة وهي تسبح بمهارة فائقة في الشوارع، رافعة رؤوسها فوق مستوى مياه الفيضانات وكأنها تطارد الضحايا وتبحث عن أي مكان جاف للاختباء داخل المنازل!
السلطات الصينية، التي قللت في البداية من شأن التهديد، استشعرت الخطر الفعلي، حيث أعلنت حالة الطوارئ القصوى وأصدرت تحذيرات عاجلة لسكان القرى والمدن بالابتعاد تماماً عن المياه والتحصن في الطوابق العليا.
كما بدأت الحكومة في جمع وتجنيد مئات من صائدي الثعابين المحترفين للنزول إلى الشوارع واصطياد الأفاعي الهاربة، بالتزامن مع تعزيز مخزون مضادات السموم بشكل قياسي في جميع المستشفيات، وإعداد الأطقم الطبية لاحتمال تدفق مئات الحالات المصابة باللدغات.
وتأتي كارثة الأفاعي لتزيد الطين بلة، إذ ارتفعت حصيلة ضحايا الأمطار والفيضانات في منطقة غوانغشي إلى 39 قتيلاً، بينما لا يزال 9 أشخاص في عداد المفقودين.
وما يزيد الوضع خطورة ورعباً، هو أن الأرصاد الجوية تؤكد أن إعصاراً فائق القوة يتجه حالياً نحو المقاطعات الشرقية للصين، مما ينذر بموجة جديدة من الفيضانات قد تنقل هذا الكابوس الزاحف إلى مدن أخرى خلال الساعات القادمة.

International news reports revealed a terrifying and shocking incident, as nearly 900 snakes, many of which are highly venomous and deadly species, invaded the city of "Hangzhou" located in Guangxi Province in southern China, putting the lives of about one million residents in direct and imminent danger from these creeping creatures.
Cobras Kill in the Streets
The story began after a super-powerful hurricane and a tsunami of heavy rains struck the area, leading to the destruction and collapse of massive farms dedicated to breeding reptiles and snakes. As floodwaters surged, hundreds of snakes were freed from their cages, making their way directly into the submerged streets of the city.
The initial toll was horrifying; according to CNN, fatalities and injuries have already been reported, with a Chinese woman dying instantly after being bitten by a snake suspected to be an escaped "ferocious cobra." Official media reported that several other citizens suffered serious bites and were transported to hospitals.
Displaced residents shared spine-chilling videos showing massive snakes swimming skillfully in the streets, raising their heads above the floodwaters as if they were chasing victims and searching for any dry place to hide inside homes!
The Chinese authorities, who initially downplayed the threat, sensed the actual danger, declaring a state of maximum emergency and issuing urgent warnings to residents of villages and cities to stay completely away from the waters and take refuge on upper floors.
