ارتفعت حصيلة ضحايا الزلزالين القويين اللذين ضربا فنزويلا إلى 3811 قتيلًا.
وأفادت الجمعية الوطنية الفنزويلية في بيان اليوم بشأن آخر الإحصائيات، أنه حتى تاريخ 8 يوليو بلغ عدد الضحايا 3 آلاف و811 قتيلًا، والمصابين 16 ألفًا و740 شخصًا، فيما جرى إنقاذ 6 آلاف و462 شخصًا.
وكانت السلطات الفنزويلية قد أعلنت حالة الطوارئ في المناطق المنكوبة، فيما تتواصل عمليات البحث والإنقاذ بمشاركة فرق محلية ودولية، وسط جهود لإيواء آلاف المتضررين وإعادة الخدمات الأساسية إلى المناطق الأكثر تضررًا. كما تشير التقديرات إلى أن أكثر من 17 ألف شخص أصبحوا بلا مأوى جراء الزلزالين، في حين تواصل الأمم المتحدة وشركاؤها تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية.
وتتواصل عمليات الإغاثة والبحث عن ناجين، فيما تجاوز عدد المشردين 17 ألف شخص، مع استمرار الجهود المحلية والدولية لتقديم المساعدات وإعادة الخدمات إلى المناطق المنكوبة.

The Venezuelan National Assembly reported in a statement today regarding the latest statistics that as of July 8, the number of victims reached 3,811 dead and 16,740 injured, while 6,462 people have been rescued.
The Venezuelan authorities had declared a state of emergency in the affected areas, while search and rescue operations continue with the participation of local and international teams, amid efforts to shelter thousands of those affected and restore essential services to the hardest-hit areas. Estimates indicate that more than 17,000 people have become homeless due to the earthquakes, while the United Nations and its partners continue to provide humanitarian assistance.
Relief operations and the search for survivors are ongoing, with the number of displaced persons exceeding 17,000, as local and international efforts continue to provide aid and restore services to the affected areas.
