أعلنت وزارة الداخلية القطرية القبض على 25 شخصاً من جنسية عربية، على خلفية مشاجرة وقعت داخل أحد المطاعم بمنطقة الدفنة، بعد تداول مقاطع مصورة للواقعة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان صحفي أن المشاجرة صاحبتها تصرفات مخالفة للقانون، تضمنت التعدي على سلامة الأفراد والممتلكات، والإخلال بالأمن والنظام العام، مؤكدة أن الجهات المختصة باشرت فوراً اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة حيال الواقعة.
وأضافت أنه تم استكمال الإجراءات القانونية بحق الموقوفين تمهيداً لإحالتهم إلى النيابة العامة لاستكمال التحقيقات واتخاذ ما يلزم وفق الأنظمة المعمول بها.
ودعت وزارة الداخلية الجميع إلى الالتزام بالقوانين والأنظمة، والتحلي بالمسؤولية، والابتعاد عن أي سلوك من شأنه الإخلال بالأمن أو النظام العام.
وأكدت أنها لن تتهاون في اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحق كل من يثبت تورطه في أفعال مخالفة للقانون أو تمس أمن المجتمع وسلامته.
The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 25 individuals of Arab nationality, following a brawl that occurred inside a restaurant in the Dafna area, after videos of the incident circulated on social media.
The ministry clarified in a press statement that the brawl was accompanied by actions that violated the law, including assaulting the safety of individuals and property, and disrupting public security and order, emphasizing that the relevant authorities immediately began taking the necessary actions regarding the incident.
It added that legal procedures against the detainees have been completed in preparation for their referral to the Public Prosecution to continue the investigations and take necessary actions according to the applicable regulations.
The Ministry of Interior called on everyone to adhere to the laws and regulations, to act responsibly, and to avoid any behavior that could disrupt security or public order.
It confirmed that it will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone proven to be involved in actions that violate the law or threaten the security and safety of the community.
