حذّر المؤسس المشارك الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة «أنثروبيك» داريو أمودي، من تحولات سريعة قد يفرضها الذكاء الاصطناعي على سوق العمل، متوقعاً أن تطال تداعياته بصورة خاصة الوظائف المكتبية في مستوياتها المبتدئة خلال السنوات القليلة القادمة.
وفي مقال مطول بعنوان «مراهقة التكنولوجيا»، رسم أمودي تصوراً لمرحلة تصبح فيها أنظمة الذكاء الاصطناعي قادرة على تنفيذ نطاق واسع من المهام المعرفية بمستويات تتجاوز قدرات البشر، معتبراً أن سرعة التطور تشكل تحدياً أمام قدرة الموظفين والأسواق على التكيف. وتوقع أمودي، أن يؤدي الذكاء الاصطناعي إلى اضطراب يصل إلى 50% من الوظائف المكتبية للمبتدئين خلال فترة تراوح بين عام و5 أعوام، مستشهداً بالبرمجة بوصفها نموذجاً لسرعة التحول، بعدما أصبحت الأنظمة قادرة على كتابة معظم الأكواد لبعض المهندسين.
ويمنح هذا التحول أهمية متزايدة لمهارات التوجيه والمراجعة والحكم على النتائج، إذ تتحول قيمة الموظف تدريجياً من تنفيذ المهام إلى إدارة أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي، والاستفادة من قدراتها والتحقق من مخرجاتها.
ويرى أمودي، أن اتساع قدرات الذكاء الاصطناعي وسرعة تطورها قد يجعلان المرحلة الانتقالية أكثر صعوبة، مع حاجة البشر وأسواق العمل إلى وقت للتكيف مع المتغيرات المتسارعة.
Dario Amodei, the co-founder and CEO of Anthropic, warned of rapid changes that artificial intelligence may impose on the job market, predicting that its repercussions will particularly affect entry-level office jobs in the coming few years.
In a lengthy article titled "The Adolescence of Technology," Amodei envisioned a stage where AI systems become capable of performing a wide range of cognitive tasks at levels that surpass human abilities, considering that the speed of development poses a challenge to employees' and markets' ability to adapt. Amodei predicted that artificial intelligence could disrupt up to 50% of entry-level office jobs within a period ranging from one to five years, citing programming as a model for the speed of transformation, as systems have become capable of writing most codes for some engineers.
This transformation grants increasing importance to skills in guidance, review, and judgment of results, as the value of employees gradually shifts from executing tasks to managing AI tools, leveraging their capabilities, and verifying their outputs.
Amodei believes that the expanding capabilities of artificial intelligence and the speed of its development may make the transitional phase more challenging, as humans and labor markets will need time to adapt to the rapidly changing variables.
