دخل الملياردير الأمريكي إيلون ماسك التاريخ المالي العالمي بعدما أصبح أول شخص تتجاوز ثروته حاجز التريليون دولار، مدفوعاً بالارتفاع القوي لأسهم شركة سبيس إكس عقب إدراجها في سوق ناسداك خلال أكبر طرح عام أولي شهدته الأسواق المالية.
ووفقاً للتقديرات، ارتفعت ثروة ماسك إلى نحو 1.11 تريليون دولار، ما عزز موقعه كأغنى شخص في العالم بفارق كبير عن أقرب منافسيه.
انطلاقة قوية لسهم سبيس إكس
وبحسب BBC، دخلت سبيس إكس التداول بقيمة سوقية بلغت 2.2 تريليون دولار، بعدما حُدد سعر السهم عند 135 دولاراً في الاكتتاب العام. إلا أن الإقبال الكبير من المستثمرين دفع السهم ليفتتح التداول عند 150 دولاراً قبل أن يقفز مؤقتاً إلى 176.5 دولار، لينهي الجلسة قرب مستوى 161 دولاراً.
وجمعت الشركة نحو 75 مليار دولار من خلال الطرح، في واحدة من أكبر عمليات جمع الأموال في تاريخ أسواق المال.
ويمتلك ماسك نحو 42% من أسهم سبيس إكس، ما يمنحه سيطرة شبه مطلقة على قرارات الشركة واستراتيجيتها المستقبلية.
ثروة ضخمة مدفوعة بالأسهم
وتشير التقديرات إلى أن الحصة التي يملكها ماسك في سبيس إكس تُقدّر بنحو 767 مليار دولار، إضافة إلى خيارات أسهم بمليارات الدولارات. كما لا تزال لديه حصص ضخمة في شركة تسلا، ما يساهم في تعزيز ثروته الإجمالية.
ورغم الرقم القياسي، يؤكد خبراء أن معظم ثروة ماسك «ورقية» وترتبط بقيمة أسهمه، وليست سيولة نقدية متاحة، كما أنه لا يستطيع بيع أسهمه في سبيس إكس خلال الفترة الأولى بعد الطرح.
جدل واسع حول تفاوت الثروات
أثار وصول ماسك إلى مستوى التريليون دولار موجة من الجدل السياسي والاقتصادي حول اتساع الفجوة بين الأغنياء وبقية المجتمع.
وأشار منتقدون إلى أن ثروة رجل واحد أصبحت تعادل تقريباً الناتج الاقتصادي السنوي لدول كاملة مثل بولند أو هولندا.
ودعا عدد من السياسيين الأمريكيين، من بينهم عضوا مجلس الشيوخ الديمقراطيان بيرني ساندرز وإليزابيث وارن، إلى فرض ضرائب أكبر على أصحاب الثروات الضخمة، معتبرين أن هذا التطور يمثل جرس إنذار بشأن عدم المساواة الاقتصادية.

ورغم الحماس الكبير من المستثمرين، لا تزال سبيس إكس تواجه تحديات مالية كبيرة، إذ تشير بياناتها إلى تسجيل خسائر تجاوزت 9 مليارات دولار خلال عامي 2025 و2026 نتيجة الإنفاق الضخم على مشاريع الذكاء الاصطناعي والبنية التحتية والتوسع المستقبلي.

حلم اقتصاد القمر والمريخ
وتؤكد سبيس إكس أن رؤيتها المستقبلية تتجاوز إطلاق الصواريخ والأقمار الصناعية، إذ تسعى إلى بناء ما تسميه «اقتصاد القمر»، وهو مفهوم يقوم على إنشاء أنشطة اقتصادية مستدامة لنقل البشر والبضائع إلى القمر ثم إلى المريخ بشكل منتظم.
وتعترف الشركة في الوقت ذاته بأن هذه الخطط تعتمد على تقنيات معقدة وبعضها لم يُطوَّر بالكامل بعد، ما يجعل نجاحها التجاري غير مضمون.

A giant company but not profitable
Despite the great enthusiasm from investors, SpaceX still faces significant financial challenges, as its data indicates losses exceeding 9 billion dollars during 2025 and 2026 due to massive spending on artificial intelligence projects, infrastructure, and future expansion.
The company's current operations focus on manufacturing and launching reusable rockets, in addition to operating the Starlink satellite internet network, and entering the artificial intelligence sector after acquiring xAI.
The dream of a lunar and Martian economy
SpaceX asserts that its future vision goes beyond launching rockets and satellites, as it seeks to build what it calls a "lunar economy," a concept based on creating sustainable economic activities to transport humans and goods to the moon and then to Mars on a regular basis.
