شهدت ليبيا واقعة نادرة، وثّقها مقطع فيديو متداول، بظهور تاجر ليبي يتسلم شحنة هواتف محمولة كان قد طلبها ودفع ثمنها قبل 16 عاماً (في عام 2010) لكن الظروف الأمنية والسياسية التي مرت بها البلاد حالت دون وصولها في حينها.
ويظهر التاجر الليبي في الفيديو الذي انتشر بشكل واسع، وهو يفتح الصناديق بحضور عدد من أصدقائه وأقاربه، معبراً عن دهشته وفرحته الغامرة بتسلّم الشحنة بعد كل هذه السنوات.
وقال التاجر في حديثه أمام الكاميرا: «اشتريت هذه الهواتف عام 2010 من أحد الموردين، ودفعت ثمنها كاملاً، لكن الحرب والفوضى التي اجتاحت ليبيا بعد ذلك منعت وصولها»، مضيفا أنه «اليوم، وبعد 16 سنة، فوجئت بالمورد أو من يمثله يعيد الأمانة ويسلم الشحنة كاملة. هذه أمانة في عنقي، وسأردها لأصحابها أو أوزعها على من يستحقها».
وأكد التاجر أنه لم يتوقع أبداً أن يسترد هذه البضاعة بعد كل هذا الزمن، مشيداً بأمانة المورد الذي احتفظ بالشحنة طوال السنوات الماضية رغم الظروف الصعبة التي مرت بها ليبيا، من الحروب والانقسامات إلى انهيار الاقتصاد وتفكك مؤسسات الدولة.
وحظي الفيديو بتفاعل واسع من الليبيين والعرب، ووصفه الكثيرون بـ«القصة الإنسانية النادرة» التي تعكس قيم الأمانة والصدق حتى في أحلك الظروف.
وتعود الواقعة إلى 2010، أي قبل اندلاع ثورة 17 فبراير 2011 التي أطاحت بنظام معمر القذافي، وبدء الحرب الأهلية التي استمرت سنوات طويلة وأدت إلى انقسام البلاد بين حكومتين متنافستين، وتفكك الأمن والاقتصاد، وانهيار نظام الجمارك والشحن التجاري في كثير من المناطق.
وفي تلك الفترة، كانت التجارة الداخلية والخارجية في ليبيا نشطة نسبياً، وكان استيراد الهواتف المحمولة خصوصاً في فترة انتشار الهواتف الذكية الأولى تجارة مربحة، لكن مع بدء الصراع المسلح عام 2011، توقفت الكثير من الشحنات في الموانئ أو المستودعات، أو ضاعت في الفوضى، أو احتُجزت لدى تجار وموردين لسنوات طويلة.
Libya witnessed a rare incident, documented in a widely circulated video, featuring a Libyan trader receiving a shipment of mobile phones that he had ordered and paid for 16 years ago (in 2010), but the security and political circumstances that the country went through prevented their arrival at that time.
The Libyan trader appears in the video, which has spread widely, opening the boxes in the presence of several friends and relatives, expressing his astonishment and overwhelming joy at receiving the shipment after all these years.
The trader said in his remarks before the camera: “I bought these phones in 2010 from one of the suppliers and paid the full price, but the war and chaos that swept Libya afterwards prevented their arrival,” adding that “today, after 16 years, I was surprised when the supplier or his representative returned the trust and delivered the complete shipment. This is a trust on my shoulders, and I will return it to its owners or distribute it to those who deserve it.”
The trader confirmed that he never expected to recover this merchandise after all this time, praising the integrity of the supplier who kept the shipment safe throughout the past years despite the difficult circumstances that Libya went through, from wars and divisions to the collapse of the economy and the disintegration of state institutions.
The video received widespread interaction from Libyans and Arabs, with many describing it as a “rare human story” that reflects the values of honesty and integrity even in the darkest circumstances.
The incident dates back to 2010, before the outbreak of the February 17, 2011 revolution that toppled Muammar Gaddafi's regime and the onset of the civil war that lasted for many years, leading to the division of the country between competing governments, the collapse of security and the economy, and the breakdown of customs and commercial shipping systems in many areas.
During that period, domestic and foreign trade in Libya was relatively active, and importing mobile phones, especially during the early spread of smartphones, was a profitable business. However, with the onset of armed conflict in 2011, many shipments were halted in ports or warehouses, lost in the chaos, or held by traders and suppliers for many years.
