في مشهد إنساني لافت خلال زيارة رسمية، أوقف الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان موكبه فجأة في مدينة أديامان، بعد أن لاحظ رضيعاً لا يتجاوز عمره أربعة أشهر بين أحضان عائلته، أثناء حضوره حفل تدشين مشروع إسكان يهدف لمساعدة 350 ألف متضرر من الزلزال.
وأظهر مقطع فيديو أردوغان وهو يحيي المواطنين الذين اصطفوا لاستقباله بحماس، ليصدر أمراً مفاجئاً بإيقاف الموكب فور رؤيته الطفل محمد فاتح كارانفيل، ويقترب بنفسه من العائلة، ويحمل الرضيع بين ذراعيه، مداعباً إياه.
ولم يكتفِ أردوغان بمداعبة الطفل، بل أهداه عملة ذهبية، في خطوة أثارت تصفيق الحاضرين، كما وزع ألعاباً على الأطفال المحيطين.
In a striking humanitarian scene during an official visit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan suddenly stopped his convoy in the city of Adıyaman after noticing a baby no more than four months old in the arms of his family while attending the inauguration ceremony of a housing project aimed at helping 350,000 earthquake victims.
A video showed Erdoğan greeting citizens who eagerly lined up to welcome him, before issuing a surprising order to stop the convoy upon seeing the baby, Muhammad Fatih Karanfil. He approached the family himself and held the infant in his arms, playfully interacting with him.
Erdoğan didn't stop at just playing with the baby; he also gifted him a gold coin, a gesture that sparked applause from those present, and he distributed toys to the surrounding children.
