قُتل ما لا يقل عن تسعة أشخاص وأصيب 29 آخرون، أمس، في حادثة سقوط حافلة من جسر إثر اصطدام في محافظة ميسيونيس في شمال شرق الأرجنتين.
وأفادت مصادر في الشرطة، بأن حافلة من طابقين كانت تقل نحو 50 راكباً اصطدمت بسيارة كانت قادمة من الاتجاه المعاكس قرب مدينة أوبيرا.
وأضافت المصادر أنه «بسبب قوة الاصطدام انحرفت الحافلة واصطدمت بحاجز الجسر وسقطت في النهر».
وشارك أكثر من 100 إطفائي ومسعف في عمليات إنقاذ الجرحى وأمضوا ساعات عدة محاولين إخراج ركاب كانوا عالقين في الحافلة.
At least nine people were killed and 29 others were injured yesterday in an incident where a bus fell from a bridge after a collision in the Misiones province in northeastern Argentina.
Police sources reported that a double-decker bus carrying around 50 passengers collided with a car coming from the opposite direction near the city of Oberá.
The sources added that "due to the force of the collision, the bus veered off, hit the bridge barrier, and fell into the river."
More than 100 firefighters and paramedics participated in the rescue operations and spent several hours trying to free passengers who were trapped in the bus.
