شهدت ولاية تاتشيرا الجبلية غربي فنزويلا أمس (الأربعاء) حادثة مروّعة، بعد أن تحطّمت طائرة صغيرة ثنائية المحرك من طراز «تشاين» عقب لحظات من إقلاعها من مطار باراميلو، لتتحول إلى كتلة لهب ضخمة أودت بحياة شخصين كانا على متنها.
ووفق ما أفادت به وسائل إعلام محلية وعالمية، أقلعت الطائرة في رحلتها بشكل طبيعي قبل أن تنحرف فجأة نحو اليسار بعد ارتفاعها أمتارًا قليلة عن المدرج، ثم ارتطمت بالأرض بعنف وانفجرت على الفور، مطلقة دخانًا أسود كثيفًا شوهد من مسافات بعيدة.
وقال شهود عيان إن الطائرة فقدت توازنها بشكل مفاجئ، وإن محاولات المارة وعمال المطار لإنقاذ الطيارين باءت بالفشل بسبب اشتعال النيران بشكل كامل خلال ثوانٍ معدودة. ووثّق عمال المطار لحظة السقوط والانفجار وسط صرخات وذعر الموجودين، في مشهد وُصف بأنه «كارثي ومؤلم».
وبحسب التحقيقات الأولية، يُرجّح أن انفجار أحد إطارات الطائرة أثناء الإقلاع تسبب بفقدان السيطرة عليها، فيما فتحت هيئة الطيران المدني الفنزويلية تحقيقًا شاملًا لتحديد السبب الدقيق للحادثة، سواء كان عطلًا ميكانيكيًا أو خطأ بشريًا أو تقصيرًا في الصيانة.
ولم تُعلن السلطات حتى الآن هوية الضحيتين، بانتظار إبلاغ عائلتيهما، فيما طوّقت فرق الإنقاذ موقع الحادثة وبدأت في رفع الحطام وإجراء الفحوص الفنية لمعرفة تفاصيل المأساة الجوية.
The mountainous state of Táchira in western Venezuela witnessed a horrific incident yesterday (Wednesday) when a twin-engine small aircraft of the "Chaine" model crashed moments after taking off from Paramillo Airport, turning into a massive fireball that claimed the lives of two people on board.
According to local and international media reports, the plane took off normally before suddenly veering to the left just a few meters above the runway, then violently crashed to the ground and exploded immediately, releasing thick black smoke that was visible from afar.
Eyewitnesses stated that the aircraft lost its balance suddenly, and attempts by passersby and airport workers to rescue the pilots failed due to the fire engulfing the plane within seconds. Airport workers documented the moment of the crash and explosion amid the screams and panic of those present, in a scene described as "catastrophic and painful."
According to preliminary investigations, it is likely that the explosion of one of the aircraft's tires during takeoff caused a loss of control, while the Venezuelan Civil Aviation Authority has opened a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident, whether it was a mechanical failure, human error, or maintenance negligence.
The authorities have not yet announced the identities of the victims, pending notification of their families, while rescue teams cordoned off the accident site and began clearing the debris and conducting technical examinations to uncover the details of the aviation tragedy.
