اضطرت طائرة ركاب تابعة لشركة «ويز إير» إلى الهبوط الاضطراري في مدينة نابولي الإيطالية، بعد أن شعر عدد من الركاب بدوي انفجار في مخزن الأمتعة، أثناء رحلتها من شرم الشيخ إلى روما. ووفقا لصحيفة ديلي ميل، كانت الرحلة تقل مجموعة من الصحفيين والمصورين الذين غطوا قمة شرم الشيخ للسلام، التي حضرها عدد من قادة العالم بينهم الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي والرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب. وأبلغ الركاب عن سماع صوت انفجار قوي من الجزء السفلي للطائرة، تلاه انتشار رائحة غريبة داخل المقصورة، ما أثار حالة من الذعر. كما شهد بعض الركاب تصاعد دخان خفيف من مخزن الأمتعة، مما دفع طاقم الطائرة إلى اتخاذ قرار فوري بتحويل مسار الرحلة والهبوط في أقرب مطار آمن.
هبوط اضطراري
هبطت الطائرة بسلام في مطار نابولي، حيث استقبلتها فرق الإطفاء والطوارئ التي باشرت بفحص الطائرة بشكل دقيق للتحقق من سلامتها. وأكدت شركة «ويز إير» في بيان رسمي أن الهبوط الاضطراري جاء نتيجة مشكلة تقنية، دون تسجيل أية إصابات أو مشكلات صحية بين الركاب. وأضاف البيان أن التحقيقات الأولية لم تكشف وجود دخان أو حريق فعلي على متن الطائرة، وأن طاقم الطائرة اتبع كافة الإجراءات الوقائية الضرورية لضمان سلامة جميع الموجودين على متن الرحلة.
A passenger plane belonging to "Wizz Air" was forced to make an emergency landing in the Italian city of Naples after several passengers heard a loud explosion sound from the luggage compartment during its flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Rome. Passengers reported hearing a loud explosion from the lower part of the plane, followed by a strange smell spreading inside the cabin, which caused a state of panic. Some passengers also witnessed light smoke rising from the luggage compartment, prompting the flight crew to make an immediate decision to divert the flight and land at the nearest safe airport.
Emergency Landing
The plane landed safely at Naples Airport, where it was met by firefighting and emergency teams who began a thorough inspection of the aircraft to verify its safety. Wizz Air confirmed in an official statement that the emergency landing was due to a technical issue, with no injuries or health problems reported among the passengers. The statement added that initial investigations did not reveal any actual smoke or fire on board the aircraft, and that the flight crew followed all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone on the flight.
