ورغم الانتشار العظمي للسرطان، يشير خبراء إلى أن المرض لا يزال قابلاً للسيطرة، مؤكدين إمكانية عيش المصابين به لسنوات طويلة إذا استمر العلاج.

نشر حاكم واشنطن بوب فيرغسون صورة له وهو يلعب الشطرنج مع بايدن في منزله بديلاوير. وكتب: «ناقشنا مستقبل أمريكا. ترك الرئيس السابق انطباعاً رائعاً بقوته الذهنية رغم التحديات».

The Recent Surgery
In September, doctors removed cancerous lesions from Biden's forehead, leaving a prominent scar above his eye. This was preceded by a surgery to remove a tumor from his chest in 2023.
Despite the deterioration of his health, Biden (82 years old) insists on appearing at two public events this month:
- Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Edward Kennedy Institute in Boston.
- A speech at a Democratic Party fundraising dinner in Nebraska.

Biden's health and advanced age have clearly affected his political image and contributed to the end of his campaign during a disastrous fall debate against Donald Trump.
Despite the widespread nature of the cancer, experts indicate that the disease is still manageable, affirming that those affected can live for many years if treatment continues.
A Human Moment
Washington Governor Bob Ferguson shared a photo of himself playing chess with Biden at his home in Delaware. He wrote: "We discussed the future of America. The former president left a wonderful impression with his mental strength despite the challenges."
