Matthews began his entrepreneurial journey in 2017 by establishing a cleaning company, then expanded into waste removal and real estate investment, as he currently owns 16 properties that provide him with a steady monthly income.

Launching into the Food World

His previous ventures were not entirely successful, and after losing a significant amount in a failed nightclub project, he decided to enter the food sector with a food truck called Goodies Soul Kitchen in Houston, which started generating revenues exceeding one million dollars within a year.

A Successful Business Model

Matthews relies on providing high-quality service and a well-organized work system, with popular dishes such as fried fish and chicken wings, serving about 300 customers weekly, achieving revenues of up to 20,000 dollars per week.

Empowering the Community

Matthews employs recovering addicts and individuals with criminal records, believing that skills are more important than official paperwork. He plans to expand his empire in the hospitality sector with a second food truck named Birds and Buns.
