تسببت عاصفة «آيمي» التي تشكّلت بعد انفصالها عن إعصار الأطلسي «هامبرتو»، في فوضى جوية واسعة بأوروبا، اليوم (السبت)، بعدما أجبرت السلطات الهولندية على إلغاء أكثر من 150 رحلة جوية في مطار سخيبول الدولي قرب أمستردام، أحد أكثر المطارات ازدحاماً في القارة.
رحلات ملغاة وتحذيرات من الخطر
وقالت متحدثة باسم الخطوط الجوية الملكية الهولندية (KLM)، التابعة لمجموعة «إير فرانس – كيه إل إم»، إن الشركة ألغت 138 رحلة لأسباب تتعلق بالسلامة، مشيرة إلى أن الرياح العاتية جعلت من الصعب تأمين عمليات الإقلاع والهبوط. وأوضحت شبكة «RTBF» البلجيكية أن معظم الرحلات المتأثرة كانت متجهة إلى وجهات غربية مثل المملكة المتحدة، فيما يجري إعادة توزيع الركاب على رحلات لاحقة.
الرياح تضرب بقوة
العاصفة التي تعد الأولى المسماة في موسم الأعاصير الأوروبي لعام 2025، حملت رياحاً تجاوزت سرعتها 100 كم/ساعة في غرب وجنوب هولندا، بينما وصلت إلى 90 كم/ساعة على السواحل و75 كم/ساعة في الداخل، ما دفع المعهد الملكي الهولندي للأرصاد الجوية إلى إصدار تحذير أصفر يغطي معظم أنحاء البلاد خشية سقوط الأشجار والحطام المتطاير.
تأثيرات تمتد عبر أوروبا
وامتدت تداعيات العاصفة إلى المملكة المتحدة وأيرلندا، إذ ألغيت رحلات عدة في مطاري دبلن ونورويتش، وانقطعت الكهرباء عن عشرات الآلاف من المنازل. كما شهدت الطرق السريعة الهولندية إغلاقات جزئية بسبب تراكم المياه والحطام.
وأكدت الخطوط الهولندية أن الإجراءات الاحترازية تهدف لحماية الركاب، محذّرة من احتمال إلغاء مزيد من الرحلات غداً الأحد إذا استمرت العاصفة في قوتها.

Canceled Flights and Danger Warnings
A spokesperson for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, part of the Air France – KLM group, stated that the airline canceled 138 flights for safety reasons, noting that the strong winds made it difficult to secure takeoff and landing operations. The Belgian network RTBF explained that most of the affected flights were headed to western destinations such as the United Kingdom, while passengers were being rerouted to later flights.
Winds Hit Hard
The storm, which is the first named storm of the 2025 European hurricane season, brought winds exceeding 100 km/h in western and southern Holland, while reaching 90 km/h on the coasts and 75 km/h inland, prompting the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute to issue a yellow warning covering most of the country due to the risk of falling trees and flying debris.
Effects Extend Across Europe
The repercussions of the storm extended to the United Kingdom and Ireland, with several flights canceled at Dublin and Norwich airports, and power outages affecting tens of thousands of homes. Dutch highways also experienced partial closures due to water accumulation and debris.
The Dutch airline confirmed that precautionary measures aim to protect passengers, warning of the possibility of more flight cancellations tomorrow, Sunday, if the storm maintains its strength.
