في ضربة أمنية قوية، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية المصرية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، نجاح أجهزتها الأمنية في توجيه ضربة قوية لتجار المخدرات، إذ تمكنت من ضبط 55 طناً من المواد المخدرة، بقيمة تقديرية تصل إلى مليار و600 مليون جنيه، في مزرعة بمنطقة الظهير الصحراوي بدائرة مركز شرطة القنطرة شرق بمحافظة الإسماعيلية.
وتُعد هذه العملية واحدة من أكبر العمليات الأمنية في مكافحة المخدرات في مصر، إذ أفادت معلومات وتحريات قطاع مكافحة المخدرات والأسلحة والذخائر غير المرخصة، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية المعنية، أن تشكيلاً عصابياً شديد الخطورة استغل تضاريس الظهير الصحراوي بالإسماعيلية لزراعة نبات الهيدرو المخدر في مزرعة مساحتها 3.5 فدان، بهدف إخفاء نشاطه عن الأجهزة الأمنية.
ضبط أسلحة ومخدرات في مزرعة بالإسماعيلية
وبحسب بيان وزارة الداخلية المصرية، فقد تمكن التشكيل من حيازة كميات ضخمة من المواد المخدرة تمهيداً لتوزيعها والاتجار بها في السوق المحلية.
وأضافت الداخلية في بيانها، أنه عقب تقنين الإجراءات، نفذت الأجهزة الأمنية عملية مداهمة محكمة استهدفت المزرعة، أسفرت عن ضبط 27.5 طن من مخدر الهيدرو، تتضمن 21 طناً من النبات كامل النمو، و6.5 طن مخزنة في مخازن سرية داخل المزرعة، كما تم ضبط أسلحة نارية تشمل بندقية آلية وبندقية خرطوش.
وفي سياق العملية، تم القبض على أحد أعضاء التشكيل العصابي، وبحوزته 90 كيلوغراماً من الحشيش و10 كيلوغرامات إضافية من مخدر الهيدرو.
1.6 مليار جنيه قيمة المضبوطات
ووفقاً لتقديرات الوزارة، بلغت القيمة المالية للمواد المخدرة المضبوطة نحو 1.6 مليار جنيه، مما يعكس حجم النشاط الإجرامي الذي كان يديره التشكيل العصابي.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أن هذه العملية تأتي في إطار استراتيجيتها الاستباقية لمكافحة تجارة المخدرات، التي تهدف إلى استئصال العناصر الإجرامية التي تهدد أمن المجتمع.
وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة حيال الواقعة، وتكثف الأجهزة الأمنية جهودها لتعقب باقي أعضاء التشكيل العصابي الهاربين، وسط تأكيد استمرار الحملات الأمنية للقضاء على شبكات الاتجار بالمخدرات.
In a strong security operation, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced today (Wednesday) the success of its security agencies in delivering a significant blow to drug traffickers, having seized 55 tons of narcotic substances, with an estimated value reaching 1.6 billion Egyptian pounds, in a farm located in the desert hinterland area of the Qantara Sharq police station in Ismailia Governorate.
This operation is considered one of the largest security operations in combating drugs in Egypt, as information and investigations from the Anti-Narcotics and Unlicensed Weapons and Ammunition Sector, in coordination with the relevant security agencies, indicated that a highly dangerous criminal gang exploited the terrain of the desert hinterland in Ismailia to cultivate hydroponic cannabis in a 3.5-acre farm, aiming to conceal its activities from security forces.

According to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, the gang managed to possess large quantities of narcotic substances in preparation for distribution and trade in the local market.
The Ministry added in its statement that after legal procedures were taken, the security agencies executed a well-planned raid targeting the farm, resulting in the seizure of 27.5 tons of hydroponic cannabis, including 21 tons of fully grown plants and 6.5 tons stored in secret warehouses within the farm. Firearms were also seized, including an automatic rifle and a shotgun.
In the context of the operation, one member of the criminal gang was arrested, in possession of 90 kilograms of hashish and an additional 10 kilograms of hydroponic cannabis.
1.6 Billion Pounds Value of the Seized Items
According to the ministry's estimates, the financial value of the seized narcotic substances amounted to approximately 1.6 billion pounds, reflecting the scale of the criminal activity that the gang was managing.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that this operation is part of its proactive strategy to combat drug trafficking, aimed at eradicating the criminal elements that threaten community security.
Legal measures have been taken regarding the incident, and security agencies are intensifying their efforts to track down the remaining fleeing members of the criminal gang, amid assurances of the continuation of security campaigns to eliminate drug trafficking networks.
