The police in Pennsylvania, USA, announced the discovery of four deceased children hidden in bags inside a home in Cadogan Township, after the owner evicted the tenant from the unit.

Strange Smell

Investigations began after the owner, Brent Flanigan, noticed a strong odor while cleaning the house, leading him to discover an infant's body in a closet, according to People magazine.

Shocking Details

While searching the home, police found three other children, two of whom were in bags in the attic, before a fourth body was later uncovered, bringing the total number of victims to four infants.

Mother's Confession

Investigations revealed that Jessica Moth (39) confessed to giving birth to these children and hiding the bodies of three of them immediately after birth. She explained that one child was born about six years ago in the bathroom and died after she lost consciousness, while another died after being wrapped in a towel without medical care.

Legal Charges

Authorities charged Moth with criminal and involuntary manslaughter, concealing the death of a child, and abuse of a corpse. She is currently being held in Armstrong County Jail without the possibility of bail. Investigations are still ongoing to determine the full circumstances.

Childhood Home

Moth is a mother of two other children, and her husband is currently serving a prison sentence. The house where the incidents occurred was her childhood home, which she took over the lease of after her parents' death.
