أعلنت الشرطة الهولندية فتح التحقيق في إطلاق رجالها النار لقتل رجل يُعتقد أنه سرق دراجة كهربائية في روتردام.
وأفادت الشرطة، في منشور على موقع إكس، بأن الحادثة وقعت بالقرب من مطعم للوجبات السريعة في ضاحية كابيلا آن دن آيسل، حيث توفي المشتبه به، بحسب وكالة الأنباء الألمانية (د ب أ).
ووفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الهولندية «إيه إن بي»، يُعتقد أن الرجل سرق دراجة فات بايك، وهي نوع من الدراجات الكهربائية ذات الإطارات الضخمة، باستخدام سلاح ناري.
وتم إرسال عناصر الطوارئ إلى مكان الحادثة، بما في ذلك طائرة مروحية. وفُتح تحقيق لمعرفة ملابسات تصرف رجال الشرطة الذين شاركوا في العملية.
The Dutch police announced the opening of an investigation into the shooting of a man believed to have stolen an electric bike in Rotterdam.
The police reported, in a post on X, that the incident occurred near a fast-food restaurant in the suburb of Capelle aan den IJssel, where the suspect died, according to the German news agency (dpa).
According to the Dutch news agency "ANP," the man is believed to have stolen a Fat Bike, a type of electric bike with oversized tires, using a firearm.
Emergency responders were sent to the scene, including a helicopter. An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the actions of the police officers involved in the operation.
