Designer and influencer Ketsia Mitri was on vacation with her family at the beginning of September when her son Pedro began complaining of sharp pain in his ear, shouting, "I feel something moving inside my ear." She immediately took him to a nearby medical center, while deciding to document the scene with her phone camera at the child's request.
The video showed the terrifying moment when a medical technician successfully inserted a fine tweezer into the ear canal and pulled out the small green crab alive, amidst the child's groans and the astonishment of those present. The scene, which garnered over 22 million views in less than two weeks, evoked a mix of horror, amazement, and laughter among viewers.
A Moment to Remember
Mitri later explained that she had spotted the crab's legs protruding from her son's ear before heading to the doctor, confirming that the procedure took just a few minutes without any complications. She reassured her audience, saying, "Pedro is fine now, and he considers the incident a legendary adventure that he tells his friends."
Rare but Terrifying Incidents
The small marine crab is common on the beaches of Mexico and tropical areas, often hiding in the sand or shallow waters.
