فقد الوسط الإعلامي صباح اليوم (الخميس) الإعلامية اللبنانية يمنى شري عن عمر ناهز 55 عاماً بعد صراع مع المرض، تاركةً خلفها مسيرة حافلة في الإعلام والتمثيل، وذكريات راسخة لدى زملائها ومحبيها.
وداع مؤثر
عبّر الإعلامي ريكاردو كرم عن حزنه الكبير بوفاة شري، قائلاً في تدوينة مؤثرة: «بدأنا المشوار معاً في أوائل التسعينيات، يوم كانت تملأ شاشة تلفزيون المستقبل بابتسامتها الكبيرة وطاقتها المتجددة. رحيلها يترك فراغاً كبيراً في قلوب محبيها».
كما نعتها الإعلامية ريما كركي عبر «إنستغرام» قائلة: «ما عم صدق يا يمنى! كيف بتعملي هيك بقلوبنا.. إنتي يلي ما كنتي إلا فرح قلوبنا». فيما نشرت كريستين حبيب مقطع فيديو علّقت عليه: «كلّها حيوية وفرح، متل زهرة دوّار الشمس».
مسيرة لامعة
جمعت يمنى شري بين الإعلام والتمثيل. فقدمت العديد من البرامج البارزة على الشاشات اللبنانية والعربية مثل:
- «طل القمر»
- «الليل المفتوح»
- «ليل وقمر ونجوم»
- «عالم الصباح»
كما شاركت في تقديم مهرجانات كبرى مثل هلا فبراير ومهرجان دبي للتسوق. وفي التمثيل ظهرت في أعمال درامية من بينها: «حياة سكول»، «الباشا»، و«هند خانم».
خلفية أكاديمية وحياتية
شري حاصلة على إجازة في الأدب الفرنسي من جامعة القديس يوسف، إضافة إلى شهادة من كلية الإعلام في الجامعة اللبنانية – اختصاص إذاعة وتلفزيون. وفي مايو 2021 تعرّضت لحادثة سقوط خطيرة أبقتها في العناية المركزة لساعات، قبل أن تتعافى.
إرث لا يُمحى
وبرحيلها، يخسر الإعلام اللبناني وجهاً من أبرز وجوهه، لكن ابتسامتها وصوتها وحضورها سيبقى محفورين في ذاكرة الجمهور.
This morning (Thursday), the Lebanese media figure Yumna Shari passed away at the age of 55 after a battle with illness, leaving behind a rich legacy in media and acting, along with lasting memories for her colleagues and fans.
Emotional Farewell
The media personality Ricardo Karam expressed his deep sorrow over Shari's death, saying in an emotional post: "We started our journey together in the early nineties, when she filled the screen of Future Television with her big smile and renewed energy. Her departure leaves a huge void in the hearts of her fans."
Media figure Rima Karky also mourned her on Instagram, saying: "I can't believe it, Yumna! How could you do this to our hearts... You who were nothing but joy to our hearts." Meanwhile, Christine Habib shared a video clip commenting: "So full of life and joy, like a sunflower."
Brilliant Career
Yumna Shari combined media and acting. She presented many prominent programs on Lebanese and Arab screens such as:
- "Tal Al-Qamar"
- "Al-Layl Al-Maftouh"
- "Layl wa Qamar wa Nجووم"
- "Aalam Al-Sabah"
She also participated in hosting major festivals such as Hala February and the Dubai Shopping Festival. In acting, she appeared in dramatic works including: "Hayat School," "Al-Basha," and "Hind Khanum."
Academic and Life Background
Shari held a degree in French literature from Saint Joseph University, in addition to a certificate from the Faculty of Media at Lebanese University – specializing in Radio and Television. In May 2021, she suffered a serious fall that kept her in intensive care for hours before she recovered.
Indelible Legacy
With her passing, Lebanese media loses one of its most prominent faces, but her smile, voice, and presence will remain etched in the audience's memory.
